Press ~ to access the console, then enter the following:

God Mode god
All ammo give ammo

It seems ID disabled cheats with the last patch, is there a way to implement them back?

Hello Pur,

Yes, the last update (2nd september) fixed the bug that cheats worked without setting cvar sv_cheats to "1".
Now it has the correct behaviour.

You can use the same cheats since 25 years when setting the cvar: sv_cheats 1

If you are too lazy to type it each time you play you can create a .txt file and rename it to: autoexec.cfg
Paste this into the text file: sv_cheats 1

The autoexec.cfg must be inside this folder:
C:\Users\%your_name%\Saved Games\Nightdive Studios\Quake

Cheats don't disable achievements (or at least didn't when I was making the trainer).
