Hey everyone, not sure if others noticed this but apparently, you can use the UFO:ET Gold to unpack the UFO2ET save games as well and edit the saves like in the first game. Not sure what you can edit before you break the savegame, but the few things I've tried worked great

You have to copy the save game from UFO2 into the save folder of UFO Gold then use the inbuilt pack-unpack command in settings, then when you're done copy the save file back into UFO2. A bit tedious but it works
