A word of context: I'm still playing as Akiyama (just started Chapter 3), so if some values or scripts don't work for later player characters, I'll address that when I get there. Also, still a noob, so let me know if stuff does not work. ^_^

Update 3:

- added script which allows creating/updating items without meeting requirements

Note: the script for item modding is highly experimental; your PC should not catch on fire, but I'll not vouch either way... It worked for me, but please save in a different slot, check for missing items and disable it after use.

Update 4:

- (script) player may buy many meals at once (see notes)
- (script) fixed XP multiplier (see notes)
- (values) hostess maker: hostess data
- (script) hostess maker: all dresses are made available (see notes)
- (values) essentials, inventory for all player characters
- (script) Unlimited ammo
- some misc. values

Notes:

The multiple meals script modifies player max health, which is messy, but that was the only way I got it to work; only toggle it inside a restaurant and don't otherwise force health values while doing it.

The hostess maker script should add all dresses to the hostess menu; can be enabled/disabled once and then safely ignored. This _may_ help with the Fashionista trophy; can't test, since I already got it before making this script (omg, that was a slog).

Any clue how to add a non-address input/text box to the standard cheat table, if that's even possible, would be welcome. As is, scripts like XP multiplier only use a fixed value.

The very first value in the table is now an indicator for which player character is active; that's not for changing the character, just as a reminder which essentials/inventory to use. All scripts _should_ now work for all player characters, but I might have missed some. Please let me know. :)

Update 5:

- Aroma Massage: serene performance
- Table Tennis: maximum heat
- Table Tennis: opponent does not score
- Table Tennis: player wins a game in one point
- Roulette: 17 always wins
- Blackjack: player card value is always counted as 21
- Poker: player earns more chips for winning
- Pool: don't switch turn to opponent
- Pool: Rotation, sink all balls at once
- Baccarat: game always results in a tie
- Cho-han: always roll snake eyes
- Oicho-kabu: player hand gets evaluated as Four/Nine-One every time
- Cee-lo: player always gets triple-1, opponents are less lucky
- Koi-koi: only player earns points
- Mahjong: player gets 999.999 points
- Shogi: every tile the opponent moves, turns into a player tile
- Batting: complete course in one at-bat
- Batting: infinite pitches
- Items do not get removed through use
- Money does not decrease
- added entry for Difficulty Level
- added several misc. values

Update 6:

- Bowling: player throws are always evaluated as strikes
- Bowling: Split, infinite balls
- Boxcelios 1: fix enemy timer
- Boxcelios 2: fix enemy timer
- Darts: 01, player wins in one hit
- Darts: Cricket/Count-up, player wins after the first round
- Golf: Near Pin, every stroke counts as hole-in-one
- Sea Fishing: fishing line will not break or slacken
- Shogi: preserve take backs
- UFO Catcher: infinite turns
- added Sodachi Dojo (Saejima) category
- added Hostesses category
- added swing speed modifier for Golf
- added entries for UFO Catcher prizes

Notes:

Renamed the original Shogi script to better reflect what it effectively does, i.e. make the opponent surrender; other small changes to existing entries.

Update 7:

- Boat Chase: infinite player health
- Modding: item costs no materials (see notes)
- Pool: pocket all balls except the last one
- Timer does not run out
- Timer runs out immediately
- added multiple sets of completion values (IF7-R, Heat Actions, Revelations, etc.)
- added multiple misc. values (time of day, police scanner, broken weapons, etc.)

Notes:

The modding script only works for items that are known and the item created always overwrites the first inventory slot, so make sure you keep that one empty when using the script.

I reordered and renamed some values in order to, hopefully, make a little more sense. Most of the completion values are under -- Misc -- and should be used with caution (save beforehand); they can't be turned off gracefully.

You're looking for a group of 10 4-byte values, representing the results in each round. Do a scan with value type "Grouped" and the value "4:0 4:0 4:0 4:0 4:0 4:0 4:0 4:0 4:0 4:0" before you hit the first ball. Then play until you get some points. Now do a Next Scan with the points in mind. Say you got 50 points in the third round, then the new value would look like this: "4:0 4:0 4:50 4:0 4:0 4:0 4:0 4:0 4:0 4:0". That should narrow down results sufficiently.

There will be a script for this in the next update to my Y3 table (could be a little while).

So for Yakuza 5 if any madman is going for 100 percent like me you will need to do the batting cages in Kamurocho. The provided cheats are pretty good to help out with 3 of them but it does not work for the academic course. If you use infinite balls it simply crashes the game after the fifth attempt (because the game is trying to pull a 6th question when it doesnt need to). Since you need to get a perfect 5/5 three times to get the completion points it is a bit of a struggle.

To get around this I found that the attempts and questions guessed right are stored as a 4 byte. The best work around now is simply to scan for the address (I found like 5 or 6 related to the mini game) and set them all to 5, be sure to lock them as well. It is really important to lock them all because otherwise itll roll over and you will get 6 out of 5 which doesnt give you the 5/5 reward. Then simply wait out the pitch and the game will end. When the game ends it should show that you got an S rank, 5 completed and give you the rewards. At this screen be sure to unlock the addresses you found otherwise the game will crash when you leave this screen (the address has to be reset to 0 upon leaving).

Tried the trainer on the Yakuza 5 on Game Pass, some of the basic codes like player health, damage, yen all works. But those like the mini-games did not, and can't even click them. I really wanted to get the fishing done for Shinada's last training but the fishing mini-game is a chore. Anyone can point me towards how to make the trainer work for the fishing part?

Is there a way to update Yakuza 5 table? Minigames especially. Less than half of it works, both on Steam and GOG versions.

I have updated oriberu's table a little for Yakuza 5 when I was doing my play through on game pass. A lot of the addresses seemed to not point in the correct place probably due to a different game version. I did not go through them all, just the ones I would come across while playing and pointed them in the right spots. The only scripts I was able to fix were the inventory system and the eating without restriction as those were the only ones that were broken as far as I could tell. I fixed them and they saved me a lot of time with progression.

The "Player can not be hit" script will crash the game if it is enabled when you get hit. I could not figure that one out.

Any description that has one asterisk (IE: Multiply XP gain*) next to it are confirmed working with the game pass version. The ones with a double asterisk (IE: *Yen*) are the ones I fixed and working.

Yakuza 5 table needs and update. There's no cheat for Shogi and some of the scripts for minigames doesn't work anymore, like the Karaoke. I can't even activate it.

If you're still having trouble getting the karaoke script to work, just go down further in the list and open the set of karaoke specific codes. Get into the karaoke location and you should see the codes populate. Freeze the one that sets your score (it should start set to zero) and set it to one thousand which is the maximum value of points. Then just start a song and either let it play, or end the song via the pause menu. You'll be given max score for the song. Just make sure to unfreeze the score code before you exit the karaoke interface just in case. That's what I did at least and it worked without issue.
Hope that helps people.

For some reason the above only worked with Kiryu so far. I'm now on Saejima and had to just use the speedhack to slow the song speed enough that I easily scored high enough for the Rouge song to count for the completion. I'll experiment with the other characters as I go.

Now if someone could somehow make some more codes for the pool games in Y5 like there were for Y4 that'd be amazing. I am having a hell of a time with them. >_<

Any chance of either of these from Y4 being ported over to Y5? I tried myself but wasn't successful. I've been trying to beat 9-ball for literal days now for Shinaba's training mission.

Hello!
As some other said, it seems that Yakuza 5 pool cheats doesn't work anymore.
If anyone is able to help (either by doing it themself or by telling me how I could make it work) it would be really nice!
I don't know the exact problem other than it being impossible to check the box next to the address.

Edit: Welp, I managed to complete it without cheat haha. So I don't need those anymore, but maybe some other would.

I stopped playing Yakuza 5 because now im going to 100% but most of the cheats still doesn't work. Please oriberu, update the table. Minigames are hell :(
