Some notes on the existing cheat table, as many locations do not place you on the correct stage number:
"Space" is Cosmic Ocean, this should start at 7-5 and it goes to 7-98 (seriously!).
-An option to start at either of these points would be extremely helpful.
"Space2" is Duat, this should be 4-4
"Turtle" is Abzu, this should also be 4-4
"Egyptian Gold" is City of Gold, this should be 4-3
"Egyptian 2" is Neo Babylon, this should be 6-1
"Purple" is Eggplant World, this should be 7-2

Recommended new list with names matching journal entries and order of standard gameplay:
1:Dwelling(1-1)
2:Jungle(2-1)
3:Volcana(2-1)
4:Olmec(3-1)
5:Tide Pool(4-1)
6:Temple(4-1)
11:City of Gold(4-3)
12:Duat(4-4)
13:Abzu(4-4)
7:Ice Caves(5-1)
8:Neo Babylon(6-1)
14:Tiamat(6-4)
9:Sunken City(7-1)
15:Eggplant World(7-2)
16:Hundun's Hideaway(7-4)
10:Cosmic Ocean(7-5)
17:(Char-Camp)

Basically the Ankh is needed because to get the real ending path, you need to do a lot of specific things, including collecting specific items to take with you along the way. So if you die and restart a level with your stuff... you're screwed.
Yeah i can spawn/add the ankh(and other items) to the player , but its not useful coz it only works if i have a instance of the items, so it only works once.
but i've added a Remove Instant Kills script, this may helps.
touching ghosts, bosses, falling stuff will not instant kill the player.
note : while script is activ it will prevent that you can use "End Adventure" to kill yourself.

looks like you can go higher than 98
i loaded a random high number (231) and after level finish it loaded 7-232

While the game accepts numbers above 98, they're normally not possible to reach. When you go from level 7-98 to 7-99, you're instead given a cutscene that shows a special ending. This makes 7-98 the highest level you can reach in normal gameplay.

In short, yes. The game has multiple endings. 6-4, 7-4, and 7-98 (not 7-99) are all potential final levels before an ending cutscene. The ending after 7-98 (reaching what would technically be 7-99) is implemented as a cap for the pseudo-endless challenge of Cosmic Ocean. Doing so legitimately would be extremely difficult, taking multiple hours, and even the best players have yet to go beyond the 7-30 range. It quickly becomes more of an endurance test than facing new challenges.

Hey, is it possible to edit the scores on the Player Profile in Spelunky 2? I messed around in Cheat Engine and now my stats show I have collected millions of dollars. I would like to reset this somehow so I can play normally :) Does anyone know if these numbers are stored locally or on a server somewhere? Cheers!

The cheat table without level select works for me, but not the ones that added it? Can't check the script.

An update came out yesterday which broke some of the cheats.

its updated for 1.11.1

added a Load 7-xx script.
script will load 7-5 you can set the "5" to a higher value.

Has anyone been able to figure out how to not prevent the game from softlocking at the end cutscene when Guy Spelunky comes down?

Actually, the door hasn't been opening after the boss for me. I can't even get to the cutscene you're talking about.
