Surviving the Aftermath

Total population = 39 (I rarely go over 60, the demand on food is ridiculous)

Too bad, really, I was taking a new approach on colony design, creating little neighborhoods.

Funny thing. Once that happens, Exit to Desktop doesn't work anymore either.

I hope at some point they implement terraforming. I'm constantly paving over everything, it would be nice if I could start with a wasteland and slowly make all the land fertile again. And not the grey-ish fertile it is now, but actually green. Gives ya something to work towards.

I think it happened because I removed a yet-unbuilt road while two colonists were building it. After that, everything went to... Can't find any autosaves though. You'd figure it would be on by default. I'm reluctant to restart until 1.8 because it takes so long to do research now that they made it cost time. I know it's possible to cheat, but I'm only semi-cheater. Enough to play comfortably while still having to do some work myself. I would go so far as to say I would love playing a xenophobic colony that never goes out into the world map but still generates what it needs to advance.

Another thing, all my colonists get a yellow emoji with a bandage over their heads. I think even though you can freeze their motives, they still get the conditions associated with them. So even though their clothes and tools are 100%, they still have the no-tools and no-clothes conditions applied. You can see that in their details screen.

That's a lot of sirs. It's on the abominable Epic Games Store. You can go through Paradox, but it'll just redirect you. If you want it on Steam, wait about three to four months for the game to come out of Early Access. Hopefully Epic won't keep it an exclusive.
