Strange... can you find/scan for your PlayerGold using CE ?

I have that setting checked and the cheats are activated. I'll try seeing if an xci makes a difference. Apologies for all the trouble, I really appreciate this and if I can get it working I'd love to donate some money to you for the trouble.

Since this game use il2cpp, I just write a simple mono features like thinggy to automatically populate some symbols...
Hence, here's a lazy pointer, which should cover a lot more of the game's variables.
Good effort, but it isn't consistant, and I don't know how to get the Inventory ID to show up. I click the box, and nothing.

Selected other two, and put yes. Nothing. 'Activated' it, nothing. A lot of freezing, though.

Yeah, use the item codes at your own risk. It either:

a) crashes the game
b) freezes the game
c) makes a clicking sound if you try to gift an item to someone, and doesn't gift the item. However, fun fact, the next item you give them, will freeze the game whilst opening up an in-game window that is blank.

You're better off completely ignoring the Rucksack options.

Oh, and did I mention that it corrupts save games? You're literally holding an invisible item that takes up space that you can't get rid of. Try? Nothing happens. Try to place something else in your hands? Enjoy the freeze!

Possible fix for the above?

Make sure that the item that is going to be replaced is a 'like item'. It seems like it's basically the same item, wearing the image of another item, which is probably why if you try to overwrite a turnip with a stone, it causes problems.

Can anyone confirm?

Edit:

Seems I was right - Just turned an item into a Joy Watering can, and cannot use it. Turned a Cheap Axe into the Miracle one, and it works fine.

I'll have to do some testing but that makes sense - in the Eliza editor, the items were separated by several categories (seed item data, fish item data, etc.) so I imagine you can minimize issues by overwriting similar items instead of say, a fish over a crop.

Yeah! <3 I haven't actually used the Eliza thing, since it doesn't work on my system, lol.

But one way to check to see if you have a broken item is to see if you can sell it. If it doesn't sell, then you can discard it by tossing it.

My theory is that it has to do (at least some items) with how items are stacked. You can only stack certain items like produce and weeds and stuff. But if you try to overwrite a stack of turnips with, say, a cooking item, it may crash the game, because you're not supposed to be able to stack these items. But if you overwrite the items with similar types, it should be enough to 'trick' the game.

Ways to circumvent this: (obvious)

1) For recipes, make pickled turnips, and then overwrite the recipe with the item you want to turn it into, so that the Pickled Turnip changes to a Pumpkin Flan of the Stars, for Livia's gift, for example

2) For crops, obvious again, make sure you harvest stacks, and then edit the stacks to what you want. Turnips = Flowers, for example.

3) Fish (should be straightforward)


Remember, like items with like.

Alright! I think I'm correct! Turned a hammer into a Splash Star successfully, and was able to gift it. Honestly though, the only issue I have now is getting the Inventory Item cheat to open without closing the game.

I'm not sure if anyone still needs it, but since I myself am still using Eliza, here is a link to a spreadsheet of (most) of the item IDs converted to decimal for it. I excluded weapons/accessories because I prefer to craft them myself, but if anyone needs them I will add them!

Yes, I had mentioned in an edit that it's best to stick to items of the same type to prevent errors. It makes sense in hindsight, but I had similar issues to yours when I turned a Magnifying Glass into a tomato. Bugged out things that interacted with it, like the shipping bin, NPC's, etc. Changing it back to the item it was previously fixed it all, but still best to avoid it so you don't do anything you can't fix or corrupt anything.

You should just be able to tick the rucksack box, then tick inventory item cheat, then tick the item you want to change and double click that item in the list? It brings up the item list without any closing/crashing. You would have to save and close after that, though.

I think my only issue is that every so often, Ryujinx will crash after I've edited something on the table, in the save menu. It's only been 2-3 times so far, but re-editing isn't too tedious so not a huge deal to me.

Sadly, Eliza isn't being updated, because the ornery creator is 'too busy'.

Also, the rucksack thing does work, but there's another issue that I'm wondering if anyone knows how to fix:

1) Don't check the boxes next to the items, you'd think that it would make that item infinite, sadly, that doesn't seem to be the case, it just bugs that slot.

2) Refreshing the Inventory List. It doesn't seem to be refreshing, and after an item disappears, sometimes it is just an hex ID code in the cheatengine window. Closing and opening the rucksack cheat doesn't do anything to help this, sadly, as it still marks items as being there that are there no longer.

Still a rather solid cheat! I'd recommend that, if you're using it for easy gifting, to make like.. a LOT of spoiled dishes so that you can use the cheat to convert them into the favored dishes for the individuals.
