The player data option in the cheat table that you can find around page 68 (I believe), it will then display all relevant player data that can be modified which includes scramble coin ranking. Change it to a number below the next ranking milestone (eg if you're at 300 and the next one is 350 or whatever, set it to 349, play a game and win, boom next figurine is yours!) Those were just example numbers, you would of course need to check the progression page in-game to see exactly what numbers to consider :)
Wait, does that work without breaking the game?! I personally hadn't tried it because someone said it broke their game when they did it, but if it does work omfg it would mean I can FINALLY get all the scramblecoin stuff I'm missing lol
The cheat table version I don't think works anymore (maybe some pointers are outdated or something, the player data stuff is uncharted territory as you know :D) Before we had any cheat table, I was certainly modifying it myself by searching for the values and changing it... now originally I did change it to the highest number at first but that totally broke the progression for me (thankfully I fixed it then once we learned how to edit save files!) but if you do it little by little (example if you are at rank 21 and the next milestone is at rank 30, scan for 21, play a game and win, scan for the new value, repeat! Then change your values to 1 below 30 (so 29 in this example but just an example!) and then your next win will get you a piece :) If you have given yourself pieces through the crafting already - which I had also done :D I don't think it will track the progression (the points will, but it will be empty squares so it depends if that bothers you or not!) but then when they added 4 more figurines 2 updates ago, those new ones would be tracked. If you have a locked progression from crafting the scramble pieces, let me know and I'll help you fix that in your save file :) Ranking points can also be edited in there so that's good if you have a locked progression for the ranking screen!
In the save file (once decrypted and decompressed) open it in notepad++, ctrl f and search for "BoardGameRanking" and then you will see your ranking points plus the list of ID's for the pieces that you obtained through the ranking screen. To make things easier as I have already fixed mine, replacing that portion of the json file with

"BoardGameRankingPoints": 500, "BoardGameRankingGivenFigurines": [ 180000005, 180000006, 180000007, 180000008, 180000010, 180000013, 180000014, 180000016, 180000017, 180000018, 180000019, 180000020, 180000021, 180000022, 180000023, 180000024, 180000025, 180000026, 180000027, 180000028, 180000029, 180000032, 180000030, 180000033, 180000031 ]

Will solve the progression problems. You will be at max rank and the progression screen will be populated with all of the appropriate figurines, not including the craftable ones through the time bending table as those are a separate list!

Make sure the square brackets remain intact, the json is very sensitive! :)

Yes if you are playing on steam, that is your steam profile. Make a copy of that folder and you should be good to go.

Is there any progress on decrypting MS Store Saves or is that whole project dead?

Asking for a friend :D

Please make a backup of your save and try this ID: 40600149
Thanks, that did the thing.
I cannot believe I have to use the cheat way because even the Support doesn't give any answer if you couldn't get the item.

I don't think anyone here with the knowledge owns a copy of the MS store version, the encryption key might be different (although probably not) perhaps just try the decryption tool (there's a cyberchef script here somewhere you just put your json file into it, but there's other ways too.. that's probably the most accessible way for the moment)

Glad it worked! :) Yeah honestly I've lost count of the amount of times I've had to fix my own game to progress with a quest... it's actually ridiculous. They take too long to fix it (unless it's an issue with the premium shop!!!, oh you bet they will be putting a fix ASAP for that!!)

I haven't broken mine, I just stopped doing it haha because I hate scramblecoin so much, and when I couldn't fix the gold coin part of the cheat engine table I hated it even more. If it's as simple as setting it to 29/30 and then getting the 30 legit then I should have no issues! :D

I got the cyberchef to work so it does work on MS Store saves so far. Thanks.

I just edit it and rename it JSON and the game will encrypt it back, correct? Thanks for your help.

So I've gotten 4 requests in the past week for people to be Editor's of my spreadsheet. Just giving a heads up, unless I know you or I believe I can trust you, I will NOT give you access to edit my sheet. The one that was maintained publicly was practically destroyed because people couldn't do it right. Now if I am MISSING something or you would like me to add something, feel free to message me or post here and I will get to it ASAP.

It works the same way as Steam. Just find your save in the microsoft folder and decrypt it.

Just saw this and realized you already got it to work haha. But yes, just make sure the file extension is .json and then paste it back in the folder. Doesn't matter that it's decrypted.

Dreamlight Valley

Post by Fierce_Grace_ »

I hope this is the right place. I’ve have searched to be sure. I’m using the Cheat Engine for dreamlight valley via the crafting table on PC and I am actually having some premium items stay on my resources list. I can’t add the photo to show what I mean but the issue has me stressed. From what I understand I cannot add a photo to show what I mean.

But if I go to collections>all areas>crafting> refined materials beside wood and stone brick etc I see two junk boats that I crafted on my cheat engine and two pairs of socks. None of which were in tagged as debug or unsafe to use yet on my switch device and my PC I see them stuck in that category. Advice please I do not one to back track a month work of work for this if not necessary other than visual I don’t believe it’s creating any issues. I also would love to know how to avoid this in the future because he socks are new and the boats have been on there for a while
