Yeah, for some reason I can't figure out how it's stored for the life of me, I even tried using Kris' health as the max since when we get damaged we can se a 6th or 12th of his health pop off of him depending on the attack... but even that didn't work.

It's weird because in every other level no matter what level the player's character is the value will always be 12... but for the secret mini-boss i guess it works differently. Toby must've known we were gonna try hacking this lol
Definitely think the case is that the health is calculated from Kris' total health, and each hit takes a % from that. In the previous S-rank room minigames, Kris' health bar in the minigame was not attached to their actual health, hence why Kris doesn't die or take damage from hits in the minigame.
In my case, I take 27 damage from certain attacks which is roughly 1/6th of Kris' total HP for me, 160.
Its kind of annoying because with the previous mantle healthbar i was able to just brute force it by searching by decreased value increased value unchanged value, but the mantle bossfight just, doesn't abide by that. freezing kris' health does nothing too which makes me think there's gotta be like a duped 160 in there somewhere that i'm missing. i already beat the fight but i don't wanna do that shit again on my replay cuz it blows ;-;

This is basically the only cheat I need and so far no trainer seems to have anything like it.

What happens is that at some point between the main body of the dungeon and the both fight the HP variable gets switched to another one (probably when you regain lost HP). The old one is useless at this point and affects nothing.

Now, the displayed damage from the boss is calculated based on a fraction of Kris' HP (1/6 for early attacks like bombs, 1/12 for some later attacks, rounded to the closest integer), so you would be tempted to assume mini-Kris has Kris' HP now. You'd be wrong, the damage displayed is straight up a deception.

Your actual max HP for the boss fight is still 12, and the actual damage the boss deals is 2 (for early attacks) or 1 (for later stuff).

You can freeze your HP by starting the fight (personally, I waited for the boss music to kick in) and then searching for 12 (type: double). Get hit, search for 10 (or just decreased value), and you should locate the HP variable.

Using the speedhack to slow down the game makes controlling the variable easier (as you don't get to pause the fight like normal), and of course you may well be able to just win the slowed down fight.
