I'm sure you could if you know how to convert the codes back into assembly to isolate the bit you need. But I didn't make the cheat, I just use them. The official release is tomorrow. There will probably be further progress once more people have access.
I'm mostly just looking for the material/item drop manipulation cheat that the Cemu mod has.
Doesn't exist at the moment, but TomSwitch just added a new cheat that might be of use in its stead. Sets the quantity of any required material you don't have (i.e. quantity of zero) to 9999 so you can create upgrades, etc. Not sure if it works with quests though, haven't tried it myself. Note that it doesn't actually add the item, just bypasses the requirement check. Spoiler
idk how everyone's getting the game to load, I have xci,Ver 1.0.1 the missing files is checked on Ryu, and it still crashes upon creating a character and starting the game @_@

Make sure you select "Ignore Missing Services" in the system tab.

I tried that code you posted, but it doesn't seem to work for me (or I don't know how to use it).
I would advise against using the 9999 code unless you don't have any active quests, since it will break some of them. It's intended use is for crafting items at the terminal when you don't have the required materials.

The problem is that I already used the 9999 code .
Now I need another code to get the quest items back to 0... or something to reset them .

Yeah you're probably screwed.
There is a variation of the "Set viewed items to 255" code which instead sets them to 3 instead, if that helps. Unfortunately due to the way ARM works, the code differs from the 255 one so it's not a simple case of just changing the value count to zero. Spoiler
I assume if it's a quest item then it's in the "Important Items" category (I think?) which can't be sold? Bear in mind that this code will set everything in each page of that category you look at in the Inventory screen to whatever the code value is. You can't manipulate a single item's count with these codes. That's something a full cheat table could presumably do eventually, otherwise your only other option would be a save editor.

Yes, it's the mission to bring 3 meals to an alien (pizza, burger, and another one). I'm supposed to talk to 3 NPCs to receive the meals, but since the cheat says I already have the items... they won't give them to me, and I can't give them to the alien either.
Maybe a code that resets all the items to 0 would allow me to get them from NPCs...
Or a save editor, but I don't know if there's one for Ryu.
An existing item count cheat isn't going to help you here. You already have zero of these quest items. What you have done is changed the plot state of the quest. The only thing that's going to fix the issue is actually adding the quest items, which is currently impossible.
