I found the 'inventory' script... but whenever I change the value, *wham!* error.
Could anyone help me with this please?
i cannot make the script, but i can get the item from all trader faction.
go to any trader faction.
search the item with the biggest value (for me it's medicine, about 80 point) in CE with 4 byte.
after that freeze the item and use auto clicker, you can trade and get all the item from trader from this.
I was just at a trader trying to edit my inventory but not sure how to do the trick jsdf1995 is recommending. Anyone else figure out what he was trying to tell us?
So i've had some limited success with Materials and Gasoline
In the donate menu for materials, I just did basic searches for the amount in total storage.
So donate a few recycle materials, raising it from 0 to 5. Search 5. Then donate more raising that to 10. Search 10. Etc, etc. Once you find the value for donated materials, change it freely. Boom. You now have whatever amount you need to build all your base upgrades.the ones that use Recycle/Crafting materials anyway.
Gas was trickier. For some reason i could not find the donated gasoline value. But i took some inspiration from Jsdf1995
I split my Gasoline stacks in my main inventory until I found their value. I had 14. Once I found that, I froze it at 14 then went into the donation screen.
At first I clicked a few times and the gasoline was succesfully shifting over to the Donate boxes, while staying at 14 in my inventory. HOWEVER...when I began clicking rapidly, it crashed me.
I started the game again and this time began clicking slowly, and donating in small increments. Transfer 5 or six cans over before hitting donate. Click slowly. No more than one click per second. That allowed me to gradually increase the amount of gasoline I donated without any trouble.
I haven;t tried this with the other donate materials yet but dont see why it wouldn't work with all of them. Either the way it worked for the materials or the way it worked for the gasoline. You just have to have enough of each material to find their values through experimentation.
You can even use this to SLOWLY increase your inventory supply. After increasing the gasoline stack in the donate window to 20, I unfroze the 14 and tried transferring them back to my main inventory. Sadly I did NOT get 20 new gas cans but I DID get 1. So now I have 15 of them. Did that a few more times and got to 20. Decided that's enough for now cuz I dont really use the car and i've not got over a thousand "donated" gasoline
NOTE: Disregard the trick for increasing the main inventory amount. When I attempted to transfer my 20 Gasoline canisters over to the stash they suddenly became ONE gasoline canister. Same thing happened to the Caffeine goods I used that trick with.
FURTHER NOTE: Apparently this trick of freezing the amount in your inventory so you can donate indefinitely also borks your carry weight into negative numbers so...no idea if that's gonna bite me in the arse later or not.
Even Farther Note: Fixed my carry weight. I emptied my inventory into the stash. Then I used this table, intending to manually reset it to 0. But when I looked it was already 0. It still looked negative in-game but I saved the game, then loaded the save and it was back to 0 finally.

To all having problem with editing inventory, I believe the game has a check of item weight, so when you change the item quantity, the game check the weight and if they do not match, it will crash. For solution, I'm still working on it

Having just spent the better part of the last 3 hours figuring out how to do this for myself, you wouldn't think i'd be so delighted that somebody came along and made all that effort useless.
But I am.
Thanks.
Though for whatever reason neither of the character pointers will even open for me now. But the base stuff updated great, so i'll just stick to the old one for character editing and V3 for base
