Your Chronicle
Re: Your Chronicle
Geo, when I tried your script, I got this:
Error:[string "local syntaxcheck,memrec=...
..."]:5: attempt to index a nil value (global 'BASE')
Error:[string "local syntaxcheck,memrec=...

Re: Your Chronicle
Thanks for your hard work. The error message has changed a little:
Error:[string "local syntaxcheck,memrec=...
..."]:4: attempt to index a nil value (global 'ResourceKind')
Error:[string "local syntaxcheck,memrec=...

Re: Your Chronicle
Version is 7.2. Setup did not complete, instead it said <<Lua error in the script at line 2:{string "local syntaxcheck,memrec=... ...]:19: bad argument #1 to 'for iterator' (table expected, got nil)>> when right-clicked the unchecked setup box, and I could not check the setup box to continue setup.

Re: Your Chronicle
Somehow my game decides to kill itself when activating the mono features of the table you listed. Might be an issue with the game being updated, but listing it here anyways Happens with both the old and new tables you posted.Geo wrote: ↑Fri Apr 16, 2021 6:51 amYou click the check boxes on the far left column of each item in the address list to show items underneath and, if it's a script, to activate the script's code. My table is setup so the first item in the address list, when activated, will run the specific functions to activate cheat engine mono capabilities and then it'll automatically run the scripts in the Setup section underneath that. Doing this and, if need be, following this usage pattern, you should see an Address header/section in the table and you can "put the pieces together" so to speak and figure it out on your own.

Re: Your Chronicle
Yup. Due to the design on my table, it tries to compile a method in an interface which fails and ends up crashing the game. Just added an exclusion to the interface so it should work with this table:Bartholemeow wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 12:05 pmSomehow my game decides to kill itself when activating the mono features of the table you listed. This error repeats with new script. Bartholemeow, would be interested to hear how you made it work also, and how you got the setup script to run. I know very little about this.

Re: Your Chronicle
Based on all the error messages you've gotten from the setup section and other scripts, only thing I can think of is the lua functions, in the table's startup lua script, did not run and is causing the code in the setup script to not run properly, shutting off Cheat Engine's mono features, preventing it from enumerating the rest of the assemblies, and not creating the global variables.
Not sure if you have the Cheat Engine setting to prevent it from executing or what not, but that's all I can think of. Unless maybe your Cheat Engine installation is broken in some way.
Re: Your Chronicle
Hmm; not sure about which settings to change. Do the default settings work, or is something different necessary. Also, how would you repair an installation?

Re: Your Chronicle
I've fucked up my bronze chest numbers and I don't know how to fix this, is there a simple way ?
Re: Your Chronicle
After the new patch that came out, my game just kills itself whenever it starts creating the fields. I've tried reinstalling both cheat engine and the zip file
Re: Your Chronicle
How did you find the bronze chest variable? I tried scan with all value types without success.Zadkielsan wrote: ↑Mon May 31, 2021 12:57 amI've fucked up my bronze chest numbers and I don't know how to fix this, is there a simple way ?
Re: Your Chronicle
Just trying to get some rubies, cannot find a value for any type that changes with in-game ruby change.
I tried the latest table, but like KoronTosh above, the game just crashes out after it loads and I click any of the squares.
I'm pretty new to CE stuff, would appreciate some help from the veterans!

Lua error in the script at line 2:[string "local syntaxcheck,memrec=... ..."]:19: bad argument #1 to iterator' (table expected, got nil)>>
