Surely that method gets the job done, but it is simply better to give CE more to work off than just unchanged/more/less.

There's certain situations where you simply only have 'x' amount of tries to get a value.

The method used is subjective. Personally, I find scanning for percentages a lost cause because a percentage is a value derived from a calculation of values. These values can, and quite often do, change. Nevertheless, it's never good to run into any problems. I would submit a bug report via [Link].
