Playing As NPC In Castle Crashers?

There are 31 playable characters in Castle Crashers. Assuming you are running Cheat Engine; in a local room you can unlock characters by searching for 4 Bytes for a value of one while hovering over Green Knight. Move up to Red for 2, Blue for 3. Change the value to one of the ones on the list below to play as him/her/it. Please note the DLC characters which I list cannot be saved if you don't own the DLC.
1 = Green Knight
2 = Red Knight
3 = Blue Knight
4 = Orange Knight
5 = Gray Knight
6 = Barbarian
7 = Thief
8 = Fencer
9 = Beekeeper
10 = Industralist (Blue robot?)
11 = Alien Hominid
12 = The King
13 = The Brute/ The Gladiator (Green miniboss at industrial castle)
14 = Snakey
15 = Arabian Guy
16 = Sand Knight
17 = Stoveface
18 = Peasant
19 = Bear
20 = Necromancer
21 = Conehead
22 = Civillian
23 = Open-helm Gray Knight
24 = Fire Demon
25 = Skeleton
26 = Iceskimo
27 = Ninja
28 = Cultist
29 = Pink Knight [Pink Knight DLC]
30 = Purple Knight (Blacksmith) [Blacksmith DLC]
31 = Hatty Hattington [Own Battleblock on Steam]
After you save in-game by doing the first level; you have this character(s) permanently unlocked.
