how to make a script not lose its value

Post by horse420 »

hi, what im trying to do here is, i've already found the address now and i want to only activate it at certain times in the game to put the address at a certain value. sort of a way to freeze the value but i dont want it to be active all the time. its basically an instant win button but it freezes the game if its active all the time. since i dont want it to be active all the time the game changes the value on its own and what im forced to do now is manually right clicking and setting the value to 0 everytime i want to use this. is there anything i can do that automatically makes the value 0 with a single click?
thank you

First create a group header then enter your values or script in it. Then set a hotkey on the group and configure the group accordingly.
For example:
if you enable it with hotkey, your script or value should be freeze or set a new value.
if you disable it with hotkey, your script or value should be unfreeze or set a original value.

you'd have to find a condition in the game to tie this to, are you saying you're currently using the freeze value box to set it to 0 but that freezes your game? or is there a different way you're currently writing 0 to it?

essentially the game is a mod of yugioh forbidden memories on an emulator, i figure it might be some sort of anti-cheat in this newer update. the value im editing is the life points and im putting it to 0. something in the game makes it freeze the screen if you beat the opponent immediately, essentially the way i make it work is the turn passes and i use the cheat and win. so to answer your question if i were to use the freeze value box it wouldn't work. i want to make it so that whenever i manually activate this script that it turns the value to 0.
the current way im doing it is on turn 2 i right click--change value to 0.
my question is is there a way to make it a 1 click

if thats all you're trying to do, the easiest way would be to add hotkeys, you'd right click the value, click set hotkeys then set a hotkey with "set value to" and enter 1 and apply
