Hey!
I noticed that Google play games has a beta for pc, and you can sync your progress between mobile and pc. Not all games are included yet, but a good bunch are and I thought that this might be a good way to cheat using cheat engine in android games without having to root your device.
However I have not been able to find any values in any game and I was wondering if anyone has any ideas or suggestions.

Under scan settings enable MEM_MAPPED. It's essentially an emulator so you need to scan that region of memory.

Tried it, no case. I did all scan types, with all value types, and set to "rounded (extreme)". It jumps from 400k results to 0. Idk how else to access that memory slot. Maybe it's encrypted?aSwedishMagyar wrote: ↑Sat Nov 04, 2023 9:44 amUnder scan settings enable MEM_MAPPED. It's essentially an emulator so you need to scan that region of memory.

Re: Advice needed on Google play games beta for pc
I figured out how to do this in about 10 mins.
In this example, the game is Carve Quest. I have not tested any other games.
There are two settings you need to change in Cheat Engine first:
1. Before selecting a process, click on the processes tab, when you are about to select a process.
Right click in the list and check "Convert PID to decimal", you will need this later.
2. As aSwedishMagyar mentioned above, you need to enable MEM_MAPPED under scan settings in CE.
Now, go into windows task manager, processes tab, and sort by CPU usage to find your process. The highest one for me was a .exe called "crosvm.exe", it had the green google play games icon and there were multiple others running (11) with the same name but this one was quite obviously the game running due to the CPU usage being 12-13%.
Make sure you have the PID column enabled in task manager as you will need to match this to the PID in CE (in my case this was 5 digit number).
Now, go back to CE and find the exe with the same PID and select that process.
Pretty much standard process from here. New scan, find the value of you want to change, in my case it was money and gems.
I just ran an exact match, 4 byte search, and found it first try.
Spend some cash in game then change the search value in cheat engine and click next scan.
It found two values. I dropped them into the address list and changed the value and, bam, I now have 640k money.
Cheers and happy hacking.
