Here is my contribution for engines, rudders and cargo bay. It will load values to your ship when you open the ship info menu. You can find values to other ships by opening their info in your owned property menu. This could cause lag due to many null pointer checks but it seems necessary so best to disable after the values have been found.
Here is a grouped search pattern to find credits.

where 'credits' is the number of credits if less than 2 billion which can be found under my pilot status in the personal menu. If more than 2 billion then there will be a non zero value in the 4th argument and the way to identify number of credits would be different. This works on my system, not certain it will work on all.

where engine is ships engine bonus from trade window, rudder is ships rudder bonus, cargoext is the trade window size of the cargo bay extension, freight is the amount of fright you are carrying, laser is the power of your laser, shield is the power of your shield

It uses a different injection point and I think it will work for you but if not then I will take a look at it. Let me know what specifically is wrong, for instance, whether the scripts will enable or if it crashes the game.
