How to use this cheat table?
  1. Install Cheat Engine
  2. Double-click the .CT file in order to open it.
  3. Click the PC icon in Cheat Engine in order to select the game process.
  4. Keep the list.
  5. Activate the trainer options by checking boxes or setting values from 0 to 1

Hi guys,

An AOB version of the table was added at the first post. Maybe it will work with Paradox and GOG releases as well.

Research Option was modified: You can now include/exclude areas (Physics/Society/Engineering/Special Projects). They are all included by default.

Thanks for this unfortunately its not working for me and I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, it just freezes. I'm playing with the latest steam release, not the beta.

The same thing happened to me, so I just let it run in it's unresponsive state for about 5-10 minutes and it finally loaded. It works, but I think it's just having trouble loading.

Same, it eventually worked. I'm guessing it's got something to do with it being 64bit now.

Hey guys.

The AOB version takes some time to load at first time (about 1 min). Just wait.

The game takes about 2'30" to load the main menu at the first time. :)

Hmmmm... I guess I will keep trying but have had zero luck so far. I keep trying to click the box and sit and wait and nothing happens.

It's easy to find the values in the defines file.
But always remember: if you modify those values, they will always apply to AI as well.
Always pause your game when editing those values for your own purposes.

But if you still want to do it:
Set the values you want to change to really rare numbers in the defines.
Like 345678
or 13579.
Look for that value in the game, there shouldn't be many results.
Change them and see which one is the correct one.
Then you have your static pointer (until the next patch) :)
Which means you save the address in the form of 'stellaris+<somenumber>' and it'll keep working until the next patch.

Don't forget to put the value in the defines file back to normal and restarting the game.
Now you can edit the values you saved.

Features:
  • Allows console commands in ironman mode
  • Obtains achievements while playing with Not Achievement Compatible(NAC) mods

  • Pointers to species creation (Shared by AI)
  • Allows the ability to increase megastructure build capacity by a pointer (Shared by AI)

If it activates it won't, if it doesn't activate, you can downgrade your game version for now. If you are on steam that is.

Does anyone have any tips on editing trait/civic points at empire create? I know u can find the adr in a given instance of stellaris by setting the vals in 00_species_archetypes to strange numbers, but idk how to turn that into something usable. Tutorials for figuring out pointers seem to assume u can change the val abunch naturally, which I can't seem to do in this case.

The quickest way is to edit the game files directly if you're playing single-player, but keep in mind it affects the AI as well:
  • Trait points: Change the number of trait points and max traits in "00_species_archetypes.txt" (located in "steamapps\common\Stellaris\common\species_archetypes"). Default numbers for biological pops are 2 trait points ("@species_trait_points = 2") and 5 max traits ("@species_max_traits = 5").
  • Civic points: "GOVERNMENT_CIVIC_POINTS_BASE" in "00_defines.txt" (located in "steamapps\common\Stellaris\common\defines"). Change "GOVERNMENT_CIVIC_POINTS_BASE = 2" to however many civic points you want. Default number is 2.

The better way is to create a custom mod with the changes you want otherwise it'll get reset when Stellaris gets another update.

thanks, I've figured it out how to edit the game files and know how to make it as a mod. Tryin to figure out how to do it in CE so that I can have it work w/ironman plus i just want to figure out how to do this stuff. Maybe more trouble than its worth/
