FearLess Cheat Engine

I used to be able to copy and paste stuff from one table to another, or even within the same table, but for some reason this randomly decides to break down, and then I can't do anything of the sorts. I already tried restarting my computer, etc. Nothing seems to work. I can't seem to find any programs that may be interfering with this process either. Does anyone know what might be causing this or how to fix it?

It's a known issue, and I thought that it was fixed already. Make sure that you have the last version. But if it still doesn't work for you, just copy anything, paste it to a text editor and then at the bottom you'll see some extra text, delete it and then you'll be able to paste it into Cheat Engine.

Do you have the latest CE 7.1 version? It should be fixed by now, if not, clearly a bug

Looks like the weird symbols at the end was indeed the cause. Wow never knew about that.


And no I'm still using 7.0 atm.

7.1 has been acting up for me in regards of starting up slow and hanging for a few seconds when trying to close it. Not sure why. 7.0 doesn't have that issue. It's almost as if 7.1 is doing something in the background upon starting/closing that 7.0 isn't doing.

Good question. It seems to be happening to bigger tables mostly only.

Though that 'lag' doesn't occur in 7.0, only in 7.1. So I'm not sure what changed in 7.1 to be causing that behavior.

Nice. That seems to work better now. Even that giant table from FF7 closes fast now.

Did something go wrong the last time I installed it or something? (The one I got from the main website). Either way, glad it works now, thanks!

it was a new feature that was causing a slowdown so reimplemented it slightly. (using memoryrecord descriptions as address, but the description to memrec list got fully rebuilt on every single add/delete. Now it doesn't. Which adds one peculiar issue but most people won't notice)

Still waiting for my host to update the main link, but the github one is already updated
