Any particular reason the installer won't let you choose a custom directory to install to anymore? I prefer NOT to install to my system drive.

Steam version user here (and not sure about everyone else who posted here). I can confirm that parts of this table does work with the Steam version so far. Tested on game version "20210820.1820" Pointers -> [OcPlMaster] (I'll refer to this as "master pointer") does need to be enabled for the scripts...
