I asked because the OP states its for game version 1.0 Probably just didn't know the actual version number and put 1.0 as in release version. CE works well for editing item values, 4 bytes, just don't set the number too high or you'll mess up your save and have to start over. Works for me. The Max item tier (such as 6 purple exalted) did function properly with drops and crafting. Enabling one to tailor make level 38 tier 7 items with one stat on them.
