not quite sure how to increase guardian fire rate. can anyone help?

is there a way to reduce my eridium? I can't seem to get it to go below 99,999,999 and I'm not comfortable doing mp with my friends with such a high eridium count. I've tried editing the value in CE.\ edit: just figured out a fix, went into the text of the eridium cheat and set 99999999 to 00000450 ...
