I am trying to change gold value at Diablo 2 resurrected with cheat engine. I isolate the value to a single address. But when I try to change it, it revert back.
Is there a way to lock/force value of the cell and so I will try to press "save and exit" so the value will be permanent?

To find gold value, ı search for the exact values. I search 4 bytes values. I single out the memory address. But when I modify the value it doesnt do anyhing. Any pointers?

How to scan for gold with cheat engine?

When I try to find values with cheat engine the game crashes. Is there a workaround?
