I tried changing the version in the .mod file but the launcher just puts it back. So thats neat. Take your time, just letting others know this won't work.

Anyway to circumvent the save crc check by doing this via cheat engine? code stuff I find it annoying and intriguing that the save is corrupted if you modify anything, but not when you change it back. Asking if something is possible isn't automatically a request. It's asking if looking into it is going to be a waste of time. There's understanding how the code works and then there's being able to fudge some numbers you can find.

Is there a way to edit the actual Armor stat? I love playing with the "+100% dmg but 25% health cap" perk but sometimes armor with better perks has a worse Armor stat

Just uh, throwing it out there. Don't try to make your gear level higher than 50. Game'll crash
