Update to fix everything for latest version of the game as of February 11, 2025. I just tested this on Steam and everything enables fine for me with this version.

You can save your custom cheat table and use it instead. CE has a save button. It seems weird that you have those issues. When I played, I used all those options and didn't have any issues. I put the multiplier in for those that don't want to cheat by just editing money/mag (like me personally). I j...

In most of my tables, the display value doesn't change, but the option still works. Hero affects damage done to you and Enemy is damage done to the enemy.
So if you increase the enemy damage option, it should take less hits to get a kill of an enemy.
