I took a different approach, took current fs2open source and compiled it, went surprisingly smooth, only wants vulkan sdk installation and some newer community visual studio and was able quickly to find out how to disable weapon energy drain, missiles usage and infinite afterburner. Sadly, fs2open is now on ver 23 and most of the popular mods require it... any chance for an update?
