This may be a dumb question... but how do I recompress the file to make the app.asar file replacement. I've tried several different ways, and the game won't open with any of them.

You do NOT need to repack it. just edit the extracted file

I installed the asar plugin but for some reason it doesn't work. Never done this before after replacing the Qno2x.js file into the extracted folder. Once I zip it back to an asar file the game doesn't load.

no need to re-pack it.
just keep it extracted. it reads the files first

I reworked the Qno2x.js a minor bit. Just extract the App.asar and replace the Qno2x.js with mine. Then ingame just "buy" time candy. So I did the trick to get 5000 gems, but was unable to buy anything else in the store with them. After a few moments gems went from 5000 back down to 0. Think there may be a little more that needs to be done to make the changes stick. Then you made a mistake anywhere, if you did the change manually...

On some parts you can access some store pages early to buy stuff you can't yet use. So don't worry. You will access them easily when you can actually use their purposes.

you don't need gems. you can click the button even with 0 gems
