Posts require approval now!
Should put an end to the stupid spammers!. Newly registered members will need their posts approved before they show up and this includes every post so do not post in a row thinking you can bypass the approval process - it will not work
.

Re: Posts require approval now!
Good idea. I just rejected a spammer post...but...I felt a little sad inside because there was no option to ban the user on the same page.
That said, I have not been banning the obvious offenders because I am lazy -- so, I've just been deleting their posts when I see them.

Re: Posts require approval now!
Rules has nothing to do with it. If anyone needs some written rules to understand that spamming a hundred links within one post about total junk is not okay then there is something wrong with their brain.
Did you saw the junk that was deleted? Did you find them useful? Maybe you found the pills posts useful or perhaps the size increase devices - trouble in bedroom?
Re: Posts require approval now!
Hey STN
great job on doing that
do you think that will stop the spam bots from spamming on here now

Re: Posts require approval now!
Could we get the approval/rejection confirmation removed by chance? Don't think we need to notify users that their posts have been approved. Just unneeded, extra clicking for me.
Thanks.

Nothing a little patience can't solve.
I don't peg SunBeam as a cryer...I think that Romanian blood probably makes him pretty hard.
But...just in case...I didn't want him seeing that I had +rep'd you and not him...then have it ruin his weekend.

Re: Posts require approval now!
It was actually a compliment, SunBeam. But duly noted.

Dang, STaN, I assumed that you weren't white but that's intense!

Re: Posts require approval now!
Just a curious question to ask, since it's best to know for certain.
Is there a set limit(like having 10 posts minimum for example) on when the posts start getting auto-approved after the first however many posts have been manually approved, is it for all regular members no matter how much posts they have, or is it just the amount of time being registered before having posts auto-approved?

Probably better not to disclose that, don't you think?
