Xcom 2 War of the Chosen
Re: Xcom 2 War of the Chosen
Any chance on finding a way to freeze world timer or edit the world timer?
Thanks for all of your work BTW!

Re: Xcom 2 War of the Chosen
Help me please. I used your script and only a few soldiers upgraded their stats. I do not understand how to make the script work for everyone (even for SPARK).
Re: Xcom 2 War of the Chosen
The Edit 5 seems to be crashing my Xcom 2 War of the Chosen game. Whenever i browse the armory, the game stops working
Dunno if it's related but i have the following DLCs installed:
-Alien hunters
-Anarchy's children
-Reinforcement pack
-Shen's last gift
-War of the chosen
-Resistance warrior pack

Re: Xcom 2 War of the Chosen
I am using EDIT5 file fine without crashing and I think I have all the DLC also.
I noticed if you use some console commands, the game gets unstable (the ones for TakeNoDamage or PowerUp for instance)
The way the file works, is you have to enable the options you want to set minimum stats (it defaults to nothing). Then if you're in the Armory, you have to enable the Soldier Stats and move through the list using the Selected Unit option. If you're in the fighting map, you can just select the soldier and enable/disable the Soldier Stats option to edit that particular soldier.

Re: Xcom 2 War of the Chosen
Attached is an empty table with an updated soldier structure. I would have uploaded the structure but this site, like the old one, doesn't recognize .csx files...
Notable Offsets from base:
+158 Current AP
+788 Combat int
There appear to be different values for hero units vs soldiers. Haven't done much testing so far, was just super happy to find it finally. It is very out of place from where it should have been.
Soldiers (4 byte hex):
00000000 - sometimes used for standard on soldiers and heroes
00010000
00010001
00010002
00010003
00010004 - savant
Heroes (4 byte hex):
00010600
00010601
00010602
00010603
00010604 - savant
+A38 Soldier bonds, still need to figure out the specifics of this
+A6C Ability tree
The entire ability tree is now copied into a unit's structure upon creation, this is to support the randomized abilities on heroes.
+C78 The AWC pointer is now all the way down here
+C80 # of awc abilities

Re: Xcom 2 War of the Chosen
EDIT5 pretty much crash my game when start the mission too, even I disabled the table or close the CE after edit. But when I finished the edit, save and exit the game, close CE and restart the game from save then the game seems ok and not crash.
Re: Xcom 2 War of the Chosen
Latest table just keeps crashing the game in various conditions. What I did was:
1) I edited options for minimum stats whitin cheat engine and saved the file. It looks like this:

2) I checked War of the Chosen -> Enable -> Personal Enable Setting Minimum Stats (Edit Script To Your Liking) and nothing happens when I enable/disable it for any soldier after any action (move/overwatch) or even several turns.
Settings seem to stay only after ticking on 'soldier profile' but this crashes the game on mission end/load. I also tried disabling everything on last turn and it still crashesh the games on next game after I re-enable the options.
Am I doing something wrong?
And one more thing that might be responsible for crashing, after you set minimum stats for someone and you bring that soldier into next mission is it safe to reeneable the stats options or should I skip this unit?
And lastly P.S.: to be honest it's not clear how to use this table. Is it possible to make that minimal soldier stats options stick between missions regardless of who I bring / or make it that when you switch soldier on a mission it updates their stats to values you set?

Re: Xcom 2 War of the Chosen
You can use console commands. just make sure you enable the console on your shortcut. add -allowconsole on the shortcut's target properties. Then press ~ (in game) and type in the command
Code: Select all
GiveResource AbilityPoint [Number] [1]Also if you want to edit stats you can use the SetSoldierStat command. Psi/Offense is aim/hit chance.
Code: Select all
eStat_Mobility [Number] "[Name]"
eStat_HP [Number] "[Name]"
eStat_Will [Number] "[Name]"
eStat_Offense [Number] "[Name]"
eStat_PsiOffense [Number] "[Name]"
eStat_Dodge [Number] "[Name]"
eStat_Hacking [Number] "[Name]"The quotes are included, however the nickname isn't.
About the only thing i found that i cant do with the console is promote soldiers, so if anyone can include that in the trainers, that'll be great.

Re: Xcom 2 War of the Chosen
For now, you can just give yourself a bunch of engineers/scientist. They'll speed things up, while we wait for it to be added.
The command is:
Code: Select all
GiveEngineer [Number]
GiveScientist [Number]The number is the level of the engineer-- not the quantity. Level 10 engineers speed things up by 66%, same thing with scientist.

Re: Xcom 2 War of the Chosen
SetSoldierStat eStat_Will 50 "Jane Kelly" 1
You need to put a 1 at the end to set that value as the new base stat.
LevelUpBarracks Promotes everyone in the barracks/armory.
I haven't found a way to promote only one soldier.
There's two console commands LevelUpCrew and LevelUpSoldier. But I couldn't figure out how they work, if they work, and what they do.
If you use a search engine for "XCOM 2 Console Commands" you can find a reddit of some commands. You can also search for "XCOM 2 Console Commands Cheat Engine" for a post from the old cheat engine forum.
