Syphon Filter 2 (ePSXe)

Hey guys,

Decided to upload a copy of the Cheat Table I made for Syphon Filter 2 for the PSOne using the ePSXe emulator.

Cheat Table Features:

- Infinite Ammo + No Reload [All Weapons]

1) On certain missions, your objectives will be to acquire certain weapons from crates/trucks etc. as such, if your ammo amount has been set above the ammo limit of that particular item, you will unable to acquire the weapon from the crate and thus be unable to trigger the flag to allow progression. A simple fix to this is to merely find the weapon in the table that is needed for the quest and setting it's overall ammo to -1 of it's limit.
For example; you can hold 5 Grenades, on one mission you will need to take some Grenades from the back of a truck. Setting the value to "4" will allow you to take the Grenades.

This also happens when you do not have a particular weapon in your inventory but you modify the ammo in the Cheat Table, when you try to pick up the weapon, it will tell you that your ammo limit is full, using the same fix as above works fine.

2) I haven't included an Armour / Health editor, the reason being is that I'm a noob at using CE. Every time you start a new level or go back to a checkpoint, the cheat stops working and you need to find the value/address again. If you want to find your armour/health values;

- For Armour: do a 2-byte scan, value "600" (if your armour is full).
+-- Then take some damage and "Decrease Value". Repeat until you find the right address.

- For Health: do a 2-byte scan, value "150" (if your health is full).
+-- Then take some damage (preferably from a low damage weapon so you don't die), and "Decrease Value". Repeat until you find the right address.

If you're better at CE and know your stuff, you could probably find a way to give yourself Infinite Health / Armour for all missions. The addresses for health and armour I've found are stored around "00AFxxxx".
