The Invincibility mostly works*. I verified it completing "A Week In Paradise" game mode (Monday through Sunday) on POSTAL difficulty level.
*I had a game glitch on Thursday once, when at some point all my progress for that day was erased after level transition, so be prepared (save often, and save to different slots; also save at the start of a new day and never overwrite that save). If such glitch happens to you as well, disable Invincibility and complete that day without a cheat (you should be able to survive as long as you are dressed as a cop, do not shoot at anybody, and do not go too close to other NPCs).
