I remember few days ago i was able to delete my own posts and now i'm can not do this. What sense in such restriction?
Is it ok if i will use report button for my own posts for asking moderators to delete it, since some of my posts no more necessary and people just waste time if they read them?

It was being abused, i've wanted to strip the ability to edit too. Like the other day, some guy just decided to edit all his posts (like 100+) to "-" (because he couldn't delete) and asked to remove his account. It was mostly threads with tables and trainers (not useless posts) and as was expected, people were like where is the table or trainer because Google takes a while to update its index. I don't remember now what tables he had posted that he removed but i remember skipping reposting them from CEF since he had already or post my trainers instead in their place. Why even contribute if you're just going to act like a douche later and take away your contributions? It just hurts the community and creates a void. I should've installed a edit logger so posts couldn't be lost forever.

I understand it can be useful though like in your case so feel free to PM me and i'll take care of it or use the report feature which will alert all admins and mods.

I've rather keep my edit button, just so i can fix my typos so i don't make tons of double post, and i used to make tons of double post and not realized it when trying to deal with the quote system, and i end up accidentally spamming that till i found out myself, so luckily the delete was there to remove those reposted topics. removing these twos useful features is like wanting to see tons of typos, repeatables, and other things that we can't fix...

If you accidentally double post, just report the second post and a moderator/admin will delete it. Regarding edits, maybe STN can implement a system that will give access to that feature for trusted members -- or remove the privilege for those that abuse it etc.. I know of one forum that has edit capabilities set up on a timer so that you have a 2-minute window or so after you publish/edit to make additional edits etc.. Just throwing out some ideas. Donators should be allowed to edit their posts, in my opinion, so long as they do not abuse it in the way that STN describes above.

Thanks for clear explanation. I do not think before about such situations :)
I think using of report feature for asking moderators for delete personal posts - is pretty enough solution, since deleting posts do not require any real fast reaction (it really doesn't matter if post, that become useless, will be deleted after 2 days or 1 week). I think the only suggestion i can make here is to add such "reason" to report feature. I mean in this form: http://imgur.com/pP9wtew
Maybe after it will be implemented - it will be bit easier for moderators to see which requests can wait :)
