regarding..:virus WannaCry

howdy ..morning community n adm.
to the point.there is a virus or a cyber attack to all the world n in asia..i would like to ask as my work place n their counter partner been hit severly by this virus n cyber attacks.
i would like to ask ..how to cure this cyberattacks..
what is the remedy
what is the anti program to avoid this attack..
i have to ask our friend wise community s help..
as i know this blog is for game tables..
any recommendation from my great friends..thanks

WannaCry is a pretty hard cyber attack which based on a hack from NSA. At the point the attack started almost nothing could prevent it.
Luckly there was a kill switch in the code. A Website which stops the spread and also Microsoft released a bugfix.
But in general there are some tips which helps to prevent cyber attacks. But mostly its that you need a good admin which informs himself and close the insecure holes fast, keep the systems up-to-date and block insecure content.
Most important is to have multiple backups, so in the worst case every important stuff can be reseted at least to 1 day before.
Also 3rd-party services can help, for example this website runs on cloudflare which prevents the ddos attacks from shutdown the website.
But 100% security doesn't exsits.
BTW: I think this was a nice wakeup-call for the million dollar companies that still runs old windows systems

Also WannaCry is now Uiwix without a killswitch. So better increase the Security fast.

Yes. But Windows 10 User where safe all the time and for older Windows there should be already a fix available.
