How was the cheat engine forums doing it? It's running phpBB.

That doesn't tell me a lot. I'm trying to help, and you're just giving vague useless answers.
What happens when you install the plugin? Does it error out? What's the error? Did someone already try to implement it?
It's PHP, not Haskell, so it shouldn't be terribly difficult to debug. For a forum about learning how to reverse code engineer, figure out solutions on your own and all around sharing information, you're not doing either of those 3...
I think if this is going to be truly a replacement for the former Cheat Engine forums, it should mimic it in at least functionality. You can say all you want about visuals, those are opinions. But functionality is fact.

CE forums are heavily edited by Dark Byte to suit his needs and are completely different from a vanilla phpbb installation or even a modded one through public extensions, ever wonder how no-one has hacked or exploited it despite running on extremely old-ass version?.
The download number serves to boost one's ego perhaps but on this site it won't do too much
. MEA table is our most famous table to date and you know what the download counter is? 5,000 since the launch of frf. I haven't removed the table once. Every table is going to be below that number (unless this place explodes and becomes CEF popular). On CEF, the most famous tables have their download counts in 6 figures
