The file name would be too long error

I am facing this type of error: "The file name would be too long for the destination folder. You can shorten file name and try again, or try a location that has a shorter path." skip or error. What should I do now.. thanks

Hey Silva! I suggest you to try with "Long Path Tool". Definitely your problem will be solved.

I recommend you use this little nifty tool ;) -> FastCopy 3.26 (link)

Then just right-click the file/folder you want deleted, choose the now available Delete option with blue FC icon in front of it and tick this:

Hit Execute and you're done :P

To resolve these issues for currently Windows versions or windows servers is a software named "LONG PATH TOOL", I suggest everyone a software “Long Path Tool“ which can solve all the long path problems.

All tools do the same thing; it's not like each are using separate functionalities of Windows APIs :P
