Can confirm that it's outdated and no longer works. Can't request updates in the app without paying..so here's hoping this gets an update eventually.

It's a bit hit and miss sometimes. I was playing for around an hour with the cheats working and then all of a sudden..they just stopped. I had to restart the game to get them working again.
