Tangledeep (2018-02-03)

Post by Shinkansen »

Simple table for Tangledeep, may or may not work. Game generates code at runtime so table has a high chance of not working / detecting the wrong code / crashing.

Usage info:
Scripts with "To Activate: XXX" can only be activated (put an "X" into the box) after doing action XXX.
Scripts with "To Update: XXX" will only update their effect after doing action XXX.
Addresses with "XXX?" will enable the script effect XXX when 1 is put into the Value.

In general:
A. Do action YYY.
B. Activate (put an X) the "Initialization (Activate This First)" script.
C. Activate (put an X) the "Base Address Scan (To Activate: YYY, To Update: ZZZ)" script.
D. Enable (put a 1) the desired effect. Example: "Set Health to Max?" address.
E. Do action ZZZ.

V1001
1. Tested game version V101a. May work on other versions.

2. Destructible.
Affects chests etc created when entering a level. Best used on item world levels.
"Loot Quantity Set to Massive?" sets Loot quantity to massive.
"Loot Quality Set to Massive?" sets Loot quality to massive.

V1000
1. Tested game version V100b. May work on other versions.

2. GameMasterScript_static.
"Health Set to Massive?" sets Health to massive.
"Stamina Set to Massive?" sets Stamina to massive.
"Energy Set to Massive?" sets Energy to massive.
"Stats Set to Massive?" sets Stats to massive.
"Turn Speed Set to Massive?" sets Turn Speed to massive, i.e. non-players don't get a chance to move.
"Loot Chance Set to Massive?" sets Loot Chance to massive.
"Money Set to Massive?" sets Money to massive.
"Counters Set to Massive?" sets some Counters like number of job changes to 0.
"Abilities Set to Massive?" sets Abilities countdown to 0, not require Support Slots.

Allows the following to be modfied.
- "GameMasterScript_static Stats -> heroPCActor -> jobJP". Jobs JP.

3. StatusEffect.

Bored so i dusted off an old roguelike i enjoyed and got back into it. No cheat table worked, that i could find so i made a cheaty mod. This game reminds of me a turn based Grim Dawn, especially if you use this trinket, tons of passive effects. Its a very lightweight mod, should be compatible with any future game updates or past versions. The first game I ever player on PC was in the early 90s called Ragnarok/Valhalla on DOS, loved it, probably spent over a thousand hours playing that game. I still dust it off and play it once a year. So i have a very soft spot for graphically cheesy traditional roguelikes.

Instructions:

Place inside - C:\Users\"USERNAME or PCNAME"\AppData\LocalLow\ImpactGameworks\Tangledeep

Should look like after - C:\Users\"Username or pcname"\AppData\LocalLow\ImpactGameworks\Tangledeep\Golden Pearl

ENABLE the mod at the main menu(ive forgotten a few times myself and almost pulled out my hair wondering why my mods didnt work)

Pearl should appear in game at either of the two vendors in town. If they dont appear, keep creating a new character until they show up. Can also be used in an old game i assume, but you will need to run around for a few days to refresh/reset the vendors stores. Rarity controls the cost of the item, i have no control over it. Just use cheatengine to hack your gold, its easy to find. Stash the spare pearls in your personal stash, as they will get destroyed when you die(unique affix called pheonix), so you have extras to use.

NOTE: After you've gotten the pearl, exit game, go to mod folder, find Golden Pearl.xml, open it in any basic text editor like notepad++, Edit this line:
("BEFORE") <DropRate>500</DropRate>
("AFTER") <DropRate>1</DropRate>
or something more reasonable, else you'll constantly find them and it gets annoying. AKA 500 is a super buffed drop rate, lower it.

PW: Golden Pearl (not golden pearl or goldenpearl, case sensative)
