If you are using the windows store it has a built in anti cheat tool that messes with CE, I know I have had that same issue and still do for the windows store version

How to use this cheat table?
  1. Install Cheat Engine
  2. Double-click the .CT file in order to open it.
  3. Click the PC icon in Cheat Engine in order to select the game process.
  4. Keep the list.
  5. Activate the trainer options by checking boxes or setting values from 0 to 1

Forget the ns ones, they are platform and version specific and won't work unless I change them on every update. That's what the other two are for, I don't have any issues on the newest steam version or the versions before.

Also make sure you're not editing the script in a weird way or remove/rename entries from the table or add similarly named ones.

The first error at :33: very much sounds like you did remove/rename/add similarly named ones, while the error at :288: sounds like you messed up a comment and put - instead of -- there.
Either that or your cheat engine lua compiler is weird and you might want to reinstall it..

A 4.2 GB update, are they fucking serious.. Anyways I'll update the master script and look over the other scripts, when I have that update.

Yay, they added endless siege, after the shadow wars act I totally thought that'd be just what this game needed... Not! Aaand rebellion huh, is that some sort of endless siege but your orcs all unfriend you and you need to attack that fortress again? :(

I swear, if they still didn't fix the alpha slider, so it actually saves, I'll be mad :roll:

Rebellions are just the Mass Betrayal people have been experiencing and they just added a Rebellion notification when that happens. Apparently its a failsafe to prevent an area being dominated by the player and continue the Nemesis System.

Okay, so I updated the table, that took a while as they changed quite a lot :(

Also: 4 GB patch, but they didn't fix the alpha slider. *hits uninstall button* *with his head* *while crying* :evil:

I think the Epic/Legendary Uruks drop specific item is still broken. Haven't gotten it to work today
Go figure the update also deleted all my Outlaw equipment

update: how in the world did I miss the post above me >_<

future of this table
It's been a great time and I'm glad so many people use my table (our precious, *gollum*) (oops). At this point I'm finished with the game and pretty much with this table as well. I added the stuff I wanted to add and it's stable (at this point any problems with this table are probably not things I can change) and should be running in the future as well. So if you're gonna ask for more things, don't ask me :D You can still use this thread to discuss things related to this table though and I might add small things, but for now I'm done.
tutorial/explanation
If you see anything in my table that is of type string, you can't edit it and it's just visual.

In general after making some change, if you don't see it yet, force the game to save by changing your equipment, then exit to menu and reload. For uruk equipment changes you might need to summon the uruk once (for example as bodyguard or go meet him) and dismiss him.

For the picker and marker ability lists I included the values for list_end and list_maxlength. So these are dynamic arrays, they get extended by the game as needed, so list_maxlength is the maximum number of abilites for this list. list_end is the address, which is directly after the last entry in the list. Now let's say this number is 32 and you only have 28 abilites, then you could add 4 more abilites. See this for details: [Link]

Don't change list_maxlength, just by changing that number, the game won't allocate more memory. You can however increase that number, if you're at 32 and list_maxlength is at 32, try adding one more ability as described before. Then go to your inventory to change one piece of equipment (for the saving) and then quit the game. It'll crash and when you load your save you probably have the new ability and more slots to put other abilities in. Even with that method there are probably limits.

Don't use the "Get All Uruk Intel" until the tutorial about getting intel from worms is over. (Though if you did, you can edit the Status part to reset the intel on one captain.)

something isn't working
I included different methods for the master script to find what it needs, if it's not working for you out of the box,
edit the master script.

Go to this part:
--registerDB() --working on all game versions
--registerDB_ns_old() --working for game version v1.0.7214.0
--registerDB_ns() --working for game version v1.0.7217.0
registerDB_alt2() --working on all game versions
and remove the comment "--" from one of these, and set the other two lines as comments. One of these should work.

Also make sure you have the newest version of cheat engine 6.7.

If something isn't working for you, you're probably doing something wrong/something you shouldn't do. It might help to redownload the table in case you modified something. Also windows 10 has some built-in anti-cheat tool, TruePlay. I'm not sure, if that interferes, but it's probably better to disable it, if possible.

-Now the Uruk Drop editor should work reliably, before it wouldn't replace normal rarity drops.

-Added Uruk Drop editor (for all those legendary collectors)

-I'm now resolving most things, that can be edited, so you can edit the values directly and very easily. This includes uruk and player equipment as well.
-Refactoring of lua wrapper code, so it doesn't look ugly anymore and can be easily expanded.
I'd advise backing up your saves before you do anything more complex than changing levels.

Appreciate the update.
I know you do this out of your spare time.
But if possible i'd love it if you were able to get the Uruk rarity spawner to work on the Microsoft store version.
I'd be willing to tell you what works/send logs if you need a test dummy

seikur0 Thank you for all the time you have put in! made my game far more enjoyable as I like to have my orcs 'dressed up'
I am getting a problem with update 17 crashing the game when I try to spawn any master scrip orcs. Will try and DL again and give it another shot, but it looks like slayer0527 is having the same issue.

By chance anyone have list of what perks uruk should have to made him almost unkillable by other uruks?
I want to make some table to just copy-paste perfect perks to fresh dominated uruks

Thanks so much for updating!, seikur0 I can't wait to delve into the update. I am afraid I'm going to trigger mass rebellions just by loading my savegame though :O

This is a question for anyone, but is there a way to copy/save the properties of an orc and then apply them to another orc in the Uruk pointer/editor apart from individually locking the picker abilities, appearance, etc.? Unfortunately what happened was that bug where either a story quest or a pit fight caused a bodyguard orc to disappear from the army screen (not dead, just gone). Unfortunately it happened to be my SoM most loyal follower (foavorite orc).

If all else fails, I'll switch out for an earlier savegame file where he was in the army and use a transfer order to move him to the store garrison (which is persistent regardless of save?) and then switch back out for the original savegame file. I have now learned the hard way that no orc is safe from deletion/removal unless he's a warchief, overlord, or in the store garrison. :(
