Re: Middle-earth: Shadow of War (SeiKur0)
I'm confused on what is needed in order to get them to drop Legendary items xD i'm using Olegbl's Uruk table thought it would be easy as changing 3 addresses in the drop down table lol

Re: Middle-earth: Shadow of War (SeiKur0)
I wish somebody would tell me quickly how this works. I do not understand how to edit, I have tried editing the adress of an uruks headgear but it only crashes the game. Why do people ignore me when I need help. Same with the specific uruk editor. I do not understand at all how to change the adress to change one of my uruks from being deranged.
Re: Middle-earth: Shadow of War (SeiKur0)
This obviously makes sense to those with more experience here. I am trying to find answers in documentation, but I'm not coming up with the specific steps to "obtain the 8-byte value", and replace them.minikanyas wrote: ↑Mon Oct 16, 2017 11:42 amYou must obtain the 8-byte value of the rarity object pointers from an existing orc, and replace it on the orc u want to change, not replace the strings. (Which u get copying, and editing the desired pointer - Remove 2 Offsets - Turn to 8-bytes)
After that, u must reload the game after saving it (Changing Inventory forces a save).
For instance:
Uruk1 has "Determination" at 26B6B7E8.
Copy/Paste into NotePad++ shows that:
Code: Select all
<LastState RealAddress="27118478"/>Copy/Paste from Uruk1 just duplicates whatever ability is at 26B6B7E8 for Uruk2.
Double-click on desired Uruk1 address, Remove Offset twice, and change type to 8-Bytes= 1098113976
Copy/Paste after this change into NotePad++ shows that:
Code: Select all
<LastState Value="1098113976" RealAddress="87CCAFB0"/>Re: Middle-earth: Shadow of War (SeiKur0)
I apologize you guys, but the explanation for editing simply does not make any sense.
I open the program and highlight an orc. I proceed to go down to one of the abilities that mentions Legendary. In this case, I went to derived. I double clicked the pointer value in the pointer column.
By your reasoning, I removed the two offsets 0 and 20 by clicking the first row and clicking Remove Offset, then clicking the second row and clicking Remove Offset.
I ended up with the following number
A17523A0
The base number is (p_uruk)
A174FCC8
Now I turn it into an 8 byte number
A17523A000000000
I decided to copy this same process with another legendary orc. I got a completely different number.
Not only this, but I am unsure of what to do with these numbers once I have them. I can't just copy them in. I can only edit the four offsets.
Please give better instructions than remove 2 offsets and make the number 8 bytes. I did exactly that and I am getting nonsensical results.
*edit*
This is my current understanding
*(p_uruk->rarity) = "Some Rarity";
It is showing the final resolution of what is in the value of what rarity points to. I don't see how offsets are going to change the value that is in rarity itself.
I'm not sure what the 20/0 are for.
If we could change what the pointer pointed to instead of changing the address of the pointer itself, this would make so much more sense.

Re: Middle-earth: Shadow of War (SeiKur0)
I've seen somebody explain how to get get an orc to turn Legendary, but their explanation assumes people have plenty of experience working cheat engine. Would anyone care to explain how to do this like I'm 5? All I know is how to select a process and apply an existing table and activate the options.
Re: Middle-earth: Shadow of War (SeiKur0)
Made a video on how to, wait a few minutes.

Thank you for the video. Will it change the stats of an orc when we change it to legendary? Or is it just for show?
Re: Middle-earth: Shadow of War (SeiKur0)
Stats are defined by level and perks. You can change the level and perks using the same method.MarianeElos wrote: ↑Mon Oct 16, 2017 3:14 pmThank you for the video. Will it change the stats of an orc when we change it to legendary? Or is it just for show?
Re: Middle-earth: Shadow of War (SeiKur0)
Just tried it! It changed the rarity but not the loot table. Did you manage to change the loot table for yourself?jrubimf wrote: ↑Mon Oct 16, 2017 3:15 pmStats are defined by level and perks. Thanks but people who want this are hoping to get legendary items to drop and this doesn't do that it only changes the rarity of the specific enemy which can be done even easier if that's all people wantjrubimf wrote: ↑Mon Oct 16, 2017 3:03 pm

I want to thank you for taking the time and effort for making this video. The Sims music was a nice touch.jrubimf wrote: ↑Mon Oct 16, 2017 3:03 pm

It doesn't affect the dropped loot, but it has taught me more on how to use Cheat Engine. For that, I am thankful. You beautiful human you.
EDIT: I did it wrong. Made a silly mistake. It works, no more constantly dying to an orc to make them legendary. Cheers!

Re: Middle-earth: Shadow of War (SeiKur0)
Gave an orc immunity to execution, but the other things doesn't seem to want to be put in..
Why can't there just be a click menu
"I want this and this... And a little bit of this"
Why can't there just be a click menu
