Ys SEVEN +12 (table Update6)

made some scripts for Ys SEVEN.

Updates:
Update6
- added easy drops pick-up to the [misc. scripts]
Update5.1
- updated undead, raised the min health allowed from 1 to 2.
Update5
- added auto-guard
- moved EXP multiplier and skill EXP multiplier from [battle scripts] to [misc. scripts].
Update4
- updated charged attack key, it worked only on Adol before this update. it works when you're controlling other characters now.
- added skill EXP multiplier
Update3
- added ignore EXTRA gauge.
Update2
- added ignore items quantities.
- changed the table layout a bit, separated the scripts into 2 categories.
Update1
- updated ignore $, it works on Synthesize now.
- added 4 scripts: ignore materials, damage multiplier, EXP multiplier, and charged attack key.
Options:
[battle scripts]
undead
- HP still drops when your party are being hit but they won't die.

ignore SP
- you can always use skills regardless of the remaining SP.
- SP still decrease until it's empty when you use skills.

ignore EXTRA gauge
- you can always use EXTRA skills even if the gauge is empty.
- EXTRA gauge would still be emptied when you use EXTRA skills.

damage multiplier
- the damage deal by your party would be multiplied by the specified multiplier.

charged attack key
- when activated, press Middle Mouse Button to do a charged attack.
- although the glowing vfx is gone, you still have the increased SP gained with the normal charged attack.

auto-guard
- when activated, controlling character would auto-guard (without the need to press the guard button/key at all) when the HP drop below the specified HP threshold (in %).
- set HP threshold to 100 to always auto-guard.
- HP threshold default: 25, can be changed by editing the script, line 3.

[misc. scripts]
easy drops pick-up
- allows you to have the benefit of the Aeolus Urn without the need to actually equipping it.
- the benefit: "Pulls dropped items and money toward you from afar."

ignore items quantities
- you can use any items regardless of the remaining quantities, even if you don't own them (showing zero on the item icon), or "discovered" them yet (no item icon).
- won't affect the "EQUIP" items.

ignore $
- you can buy things at shop with ZERO money.
- money still drops until it reaches zero when you buy/synthesize things.

ignore materials
- you can synthesize any items without any materials.
- quantities of the materials used would still decrease until they reach zero.

EXP multiplier
- EXP gained would be multiplied by the specified multiplier.

skill EXP multiplier
- skill EXP gained would be multiplied by the specified multiplier.
- set the "x?" to "instant level up" (can be selected from the dropdown list) would let you level up the skill on every use.

[pointers]
- just some basic pointers to the char stats.
- for [pointers] > [battle party], change the value of "editing character", and the pointers after this entry would be updated to the character you selected accordingly (given that they are in your battle party already).

I set my whole party stats to 1, then go face Bal Kilios (the boss on the Altago Plains: Outskirts, Quest 18). it damaged my party from 2xxx to 6xxx for each successful attack, none of my party died.

please tell me how do you reproduce this so that I can attempt to fix it.

p.s.
you don't need to tick the box of those green addresses, they are just modifiers for the script.
when the entry is an address/pointer, ticking the box means you want CE to freeze the address. if you want to change the value, simply edit the value, and its value will be changed immediately when you press OK.

EDIT:
I've just updated the undead script, raised the min health allowed from 1 to 2, re-download and see if this solve the problem you're having?

well i was fighting mobs in the fire shrine mabye used to much of the special skills u can use not sure but at some point i died

yeah, as a matter of fact I found out that, with the "undead" script activated, the HP can still reach 0.999xxx sometimes, which can still pass the min health check on my script.
what the "undead" script does is this:
1. avoid the instant death event when the damage the party received is bigger than their current HP, e.g. you have 34 HP left, and the damage you just took is 100. in this case, normally the game would skip the new remaining HP calculation, and execute the instant death event. but with this script on, this while process is skipped and proceed to calculate the new remaining HP after damage.
2. if the remaining HP after the damage is lower than 1, the script would set your remaining HP to 1. e.g., I've 60 HP left, and I got hit and the damage is 80, as the remaining HP is be 60-80=-20, the script would force set the remaining HP to 1 instead.

the problem you're having is probably something like this:
for example, I've 59.999xx left, the game would display the HP as 60, and I got hit and the damage is 59, this would bring my HP to 0.999xxx. my script would think it's still bigger than or equals to 1, thus do nothing in this case (won't force set the remaining HP to 1)
now the game would execute the death event when it find the HP is below 1 as well, and as opposite to my script, the game codes would determine 0.999xxx be lesser than 1 correctly, thus, in this case, you're dead.

now, even thus this case is relatively rare to happened, it's still a flawed...
so, as stated on my previous post's EDIT, I've updated the "undead" script to raise the min HP allowed from 1 to 2, this way the HP can only reach 1.999xx, and can no way to reach below 1. so if my assumption is correct, the updated script should avoid this problem of yours. you should re-download and test. thanks~

Does the skill experience multiplier apply to party members? It is hard to tell, and I've mostly had to resort to switching to them manually and spamming the skills to get a few levels under their belts due to their reluctance to use skills.

yes it does apply to the party members. if in doubt, you can set the multiplier to a big number like "300" or set it "instant level up", run to a group of enemies, have your controlling character use a skill while NOT FACING the enemy to let it missed, your party members should follow you and use skills right away, and you should see your whole party's skills level up together.
