Another Metroid 2 Remake [Windows +26]

This is a freeware Windows game that Nintendo didn't like. The homepage is here.

X & Y Position are useful if you just can't get beyond a barrier due to the requirements of the game, you can just shift yourself over a bit and bypass the barrier.

Well it won't work for me
When I activate the codes (every one but I couldn't do the X and Y one) the menu become weird and I can't select anything...
How could I solve this?
