House Party table by igromanru

Post by igromanru »

My table for the game House Party:

It's a Unity game, therefore the table should work for all Platforms.
Please read the "Disclaimer" below.

Features
  • Scripts
    • Achievements Enabler (enable before using any console commands, or better keep it active all the time)
    • Relationships Mods
      • Friendship, Romance and Trust Multiplier
      • Never decrease Friendship
      • Never decrease Romance
      • Never decrease Trust
      • Never increase Fear
      • Never increase Offense
  • Pointers (Currently nothing useful here beside new Combat attribute scripts, but you can play around)
    • PlayerCharacter Pointer
      • Read-only Combat Attributes script
      • Set Combat attributes
    • Last Focused Character Pointer
      • Read-only Combat Attributes script
      • Set Combat attributes

Achievements Enabler Explanation
The "Achievements Enabler" script prevents the game from setting "cheated flags" to your current game state.
You should be able to use all Console Commands and still get Achievements.
While I'm patching the functions that sets these flags, to always set them to "false", I'm unsure if the feature can help you, if you load a save that have already "cheated flags" set.
Feel free to try out and report back to me.

How to change Combat Attributes?
Each character has Combat Attributes like Health, Health Recharge Rate, Speed, Stamina and Strength.
Combat attributes are hidden in maps as well (see Disclaimer text below) but I made a script to read them through a function.
You can use the Read-only Combat Attributes to see your current Combat Attributes under PlayerCharacter Pointer or to see current Combat Attributes of an NPC, you can use a similar script under Last Focused Character Pointer.
To set Combat Attributes, you have to use Set Combat attributes script.
1. Enable the Set Combat attributes script
2. Under the script set values that you want to have at the end
3. Activate the <-- Activate to set above values script (it will disable itself automatically) to apply the values
4. The "Read-only Combat Attributes" script should now show the new values that you have overwritten

Hints
  • To max out relationships in one go, just set the "Friendship, Romance and Trust Multiplier" to a very high number, like 100.

Disclaimer
The game code is pretty complex, all the important information like relationships, mood, drunkenness, dialogs etc. are stored in maps of string which are in maps themself (Basically a database made out of [Link]). Therefore there is not very much what can be gained through pointers, because the values aren't bind to specific objects.
I think you will gain the most from the console commands, which basically offer everything you need.
I found a function which modifies relationships and made the "Relationships Mods" script. But I barley touched the game so far and I've no idea if it can have any side effects (are the relationships between NPCs?).
Current I just assume that increasing Fear and Offense is bad, therefore I prevent it from increasing, while other relationships can't be decreased.
Together with the new Multiplier for "positive relationships", I think it all you should need.
If you have more information or ideas, let me know.

Please give me feedback if something doesn't work as expected
