I believe so. I've used plenty of other CE tables before (many of them made by Reci), and all of them generally work the same. I'm using CE 3.8.3, and I've got the latest version of ES2 running through Steam, but after selecting the Endless Space 2 process and trying to activate the main script, it just fails to activate. I can try again when I get home, but it was failing for me last night after several reloads of both the table and the game itself.
EDIT: In case anyone has this issue, it appears my problem was selecting the application Endless Space 2, rather than switching over to the Processes tab and selecting it from there. Once I did that, all appears to be working.
launch options of the game with the command --enablemoddingtools , you can get access to various debug features.
Once the modding tools are enabled, you can use the debig features in-game:
Shift+F1 opens a debug menu
Shift+F2 gives you a lot of all resources
Shift+F3 reveals the map
Pressing G activates the "god cursor" that you can then use to click various elements (resources, ships, gauges etc...) to modify (often increase) their values. Holding Shift, Control or Alt may results in different effects (such as reducing or maxing out values)
Has anyone found a way to modify/add hero unlock points. I tried scanning all variables myself, but never found the address. Can someone help?
EDIT: Nevermind, I gave up and used another method. If anyone was by chance also searching for this: You can turn in the developer console and then press G to activate the "god cursor". You can tell by the red cursor. Every time left-clicking anywhere in the Hero Overview screen unlocks a random hero until all heroes you can get through the academy are unlocked. This does not unlock quest specific heroes or related to events and deeds. But be aware, that you can not load saves which are created while the developer or modding tools are activated. You will see a tag "modding tools" on your saves in the save screen. If that bothers you, you can rename your save from .sav to .zip to change the file-type. Then you can extract the save and open the Game.bin with notepad++ and change the character "SOH" after the word modding tools to "NUL". Then save and archive all folders and rename the zip back to .sav
Mind the folder-structure
