Desktop Dungeons - With Goatperson DLC

Post by STN »

A simple table i did for this game, nothing too fancy yet, will improve if the mood to play this game more strike me

Table 1.1 replaced with 1.2 due to the way the game load address in memory

All options are named, no special options yet

- Always Have Max Health: No matter the damage, can prevent death even if the damage inflicted is superior to your avatar health

- Always Have Max Mana: Every Time your avatar health is modified, be it from mana burning or glyph use, your avatar mana is set to it's max

- Change Pity: Set Pity to whatever value you want, when the script address is set at 0 this option is disabled. When set to Any value different then 0, Pity will be set to how much desired every time Pity is gained or spent, locking it at that value. DISABLED BY DEFAULT

Note: Pity script is separated from the others and will not work unless your avatar has gained at least 1 point of pity in this session(Until the .exe is closed), no matter with who or in what dungeon. After your avatar pity reach at least 1 by any means, you can activate this script.

This last two options are now separated from the rest, require to have changed your avatar Base Attack value, and the Attack Bonus % at least once in this session respectively

- Change Base Attack Value: When this option is at 0 this section of the script is disabled. When set to Any value different then 0, the next change in the base Attack Value will set the value to the desired number, then the option will disable itself

- Change Attack Bonus %: When this option is at 0 this section of the script is disabled. When set to Any value different then 0, the next change in Attack Bonus % will set the value to the desired number, then the option will disable itself

---------OLD TABLE ONLY--------------------------------------------------------
- Always 250 Piety: Every action that give or take piety, always set your avatar value to 250, THIS OPTION IS DISABLED BY DEFAULT, remember to enable it if you want it active

Note about Pity: To make this option work, you need to deactivate the whole script just as you are about to gain pity from the colored Orbs, then reactivate it immediately after, otherwise the pity option won't work, will change for next version with Pity as a separate script. Pity gain given by the small "Energy Orbs" are not normally added to the avatar with the mover i have used, will try to fix that, in the meantime gaining piety normally after beginning, like using magic or killing bad creatures, then you can expend as much as you want
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

First and second option allow to set the enabler at 2, if done, the avatar value of health and/or mana respectively will be set to the value written just under the enabler, it's more a fancy option then anything, as even with the enabler at 1 your avatar won't die nor it will exhaust mana

Before loading this table it's necessary to enter a dungeon first, any dungeon will do, pity script will also require gaining at least 1 before activating. Base Attack require to have level up at least once or have used the orc conversion ability, and Attack Bonus % require to have found a "Sword" glyph on the ground or have used the human conversion ability at least once

THIS TABLE IS DONE WITH THE GOG VERSION OF THE GAME, IT SHOULD BUT CANNOT GUARANTEE IT WILL WORK FOR STEAM
