Hi, thanks for the work you've done. I wanted to ask here since the dev of the editor table seems to be dead back in 2020 and you have actually talked this year. When attempting to use the gear unlocker, I don't see a way to actually use your gear list in tandem with the unlocker, and that the unlocker itself doesn't work as running the script throws a lua error in the form of attempting to run arithmetic on a null value. I understand it's not your department to fix that but do you know possibly if it could be simply edited to adjust the code to work? Any suggestions? I also looked into the script for the gear list and it contains code for listing the unlock scripts to paste into the unlocker but I don't see a way to make the value "2" nor a way to activate that section of the code naturally. Any help would be appreciated.

How to use this cheat table?
  1. Install Cheat Engine
  2. Double-click the .CT file in order to open it.
  3. Click the PC icon in Cheat Engine in order to select the game process.
  4. Keep the list.
  5. Activate the trainer options by checking boxes or setting values from 0 to 1

^ first, I assume you've followed the instructions mentioned in the Readme. The gear list "just" prepares a list of weapons/equipment, which can then be used in #translu's unlocker table. (iow it does NOT unlock anything itself)
(if something is unclear in these instructions, do tell which part)

that said: if the unlocker returns an error, then there is not much i can/will do. apart from saying that your game_exe should be the final version (I think the table works for both standard/extended vs <= which vs do you have ?)
And if you can't see the items in the table, you can (obviously) not make the "link" between my item_list and the unlocker. Iow you'll need to get the unlocker working first (DO follow the instructions in the readme in that regard)
tip: if not working, quit both apps and then relaunch/try again... (do not attach my table initially)

ps1: make a prtscrn of that error and post the image_link here
ps2: I believe #translu indeed has retired some time back; such is live i'm afraid :(

Thanks for the quick response,

I understood the part that the gear list only "gives" the IDs necessary for executing the commands using translu's editor. Assuming the game hasn't updated and is still on version 1.5, I would not know why his unlocker throws errors when attempting to run. Clicking on the box/setting value to 1 does not show any response in-game and opening the script and clicking ok returns an error that "lua arithmetic cannot be executed on a nil value", potentially indicating that the field might have changed or something. I don't know why this would happen because the game (hasnt?) updated yet and probably would not for a while. I am playing on the Steam version.

You say to "copy/paste (while overwriting the existing line) the 'unlock("xxx...")' info string (~ function)" but what exactly does that mean? Is there a function that contains " 'unlock("xxx...")' info string (~ function)" verbatim or are you just referring to the "unlock(xxx...)" function.

^^ "Clicking on the box/setting value to 1": you do not have to fill in anything in this table; just enable/tick them scripts. In fact, simply tick 'INIT' box once, and wait for it to do its work... (should return/fill values below within 5~10s)
^ the 2nd "assumption": basically you are replacing the current UniqueID with the one from my list. That hexvalue uniquely identifies the item (weapon/equipment)

What am I doing wrong?
It worked for me last week and I don't think I changed anything, but now the table won't actually show me the cheats despite killing the correct thread.

^ that probably means the "main" (2nd) script returned an error. Right-click that one, and report the error (pic if possible). If no error, try to enable it and then check if there is an error ?!

tip: since you encounter mem_alloc problems, you could also try to stop/restart pc (i've come across situations whereby a "soft" reboot did not make any difference)...

Edit: I also rebooted my PC and still have the same issue.

Edit 2: I managed to get it to work for now by relaunching Cheat Engine after killing the correct process and then retrying until it worked.

^ i was afraid of that: probably running win 11 ? anyways: you might want to check out my AC Syndicate topic: that table has been updated to handle these type of errors. It looks like i'm going to have to do this here as well.
BUT: this is a lot of work, so will not happen on short term...

=> some more tips:
a. avoid running game_related tools (incl other trainers) till after game/CE run fine
b. avoid running other programs FIRST after hard reboot
c. try setting game_exe to 'Win 7 compatibility': if you were on win7, you would be fine so...
d. try running CE v7.5: a user at ACS is having the same issues, but got around it by pressing "Yes to All" upon receiving mem_error ?! (no idea atm if this "feature'" has been implemented in v7.5+ only)
e. anti-kill detects a lot of threads: if using hyperthreading, try disabling that...

I'm on Win 10

What ended up working for me was loading and enabling the table before loading the save. Now it works fine. No other changes required.

Here's what I got doing what I did before, but using CE 7.5

Pressing Yes or Yes to All just seemed to crash my game (and once my whole system).


Thank you for the suggestions, since I did end up trying what was in that ACS thread.

Hey guys,

so if i have windows 11 the table will not run at all, did i understand that correctly? currently i am getting "lua error in script line 11 - failure determining" (i cant figure out how to show the full error message)

^ in most cases it should work; I think it is more of a (plenty of) RAM issue frankly...
that said: make a printscreen of that error (edit/cut with photoshop/paint or alike), upload to imgur (or alike) and post link here.
ALSO: incl image of your table while attached to the game !
=> and do mention your game version (if cracked, tell what you use). if erroring on specific cheat, mention that...

hey i am so sorry, i am kinda new to this and thank you for your response. It is the normal uplay 1.5.0 version of the game



here is a screenshot of the error message, the table should be attached to the game :)

P.S. I copy and pasted the item unlock table into it, if i redownload your table i get the same error.
