Neither quick ship nor quick building seem to have an effect on planetary buildings with machine empire.
Actually quick building doesn't seem to work at all for machine.
edit 3: I'm not sure what actually DOES work for machine empire - hive mind too.

Play the game with the cheats off and see what happens. So you will be sure if the options are working or not.

This is just good old murphy applied to paradox games. For every time someone asks for 'TABLE UPDATE' there will be another quickfix patch applied to the queue. :D

Well it's the same with or without.
In 2.1.3 it worked flawlessly, as in each tick a construction was finished, be it ship or building.
Now neither work, the days just flow by and the progress bar is filling as usual.
The game is modded, but it did not matter before.

OK, I think something's wrong on my side - research isn't working either, so it's likely that no options work.
I am using it on Steam, singleplayer, normal release channel, CE 6.8.1.

You left the 'activate children too' on for both empire/resources and empire/general. Might want to change that before someone asks why his resources are frozen. :mrgreen:

BTW I hope this is not asking for much but would it be possible to have an option to edit admin cap or district limit?

I have both legit (with creamapi and mods though) and cracked client (unmodded). It works fine on the cracked one, not on the legit one, even after reinstalling.

Total number of districts is tied to planet size (covered in the extension). Specialized districts on the other hand probably need some more insight.

For my machine empire test game all options I checked worked so far.

Research down to one month completion. quick surveys. quick production. quick building. god mode. fleet movement. population growth. All checked ok.

Tile blocker cleaning and districts completion are tied to the quick 'production' not quick 'building' however.

Maybe Vargul is missing a DLC on his legit copy that screws up his table or it always could be the good old user error.

Correct, I'm looking into specialized districts, but they seem to be a bit of an obscure value, or attached to something I'm not aware of yet. I'm putting some research into them once I get the EU4 table updated.

I can confirm that Quick Building don't work on planetside stuff. Everything else works as intended.

Ok fine, Quick Research and Quick Survey might have some weird side effects, but rarely and probably because how some anomalies are programmed.

Appreciate the hard work.

EDIT: Planetary buildings is under Quick Production of ships for some reason.

Which someone actually mentioned a few posts above. My bad.

I can't seem to get the "Civic Picks" to work.
I am fairly confident both quick production and quick building do 'stuff'. Maybe just not what you expect.
Quick building most certainly speeds up your construction ships tasks. And as mentioned earlier at least blocker clearing and district construction is affected by quick production.

On the topic of the civic picks. When increasing those you are still limited by the regular game rules. Can't pick both militant and pacifist at the same time (same for all the other opposing pairs). If you were talking about the amount of ethics you could pick at species creation, that is an UI limitation and there is nothing you can do about it. Once that window is filled with six? ethics you are done. Gotta change those at a later time when your game already has started.

Back to the specialized district values.
Those are linked with planetary deposits from what I could tell.
Console only allows displaying a list of all deposits though. Fidling with those probably needs some table mojo.
