If only it were possible to enable modded achievements on Stellaris too ;)

Yes please.

Given that ck2 has gotten his last hurray (apparently a large chunk of the team is being allocated to other projects after holy fury) it would be awesome if stellaris and eu4 would allow achievements with changed checksums at some point. Vanilla eu4 I can almost stomach for the sake of collecting but vanilla stellaris is just ..... bland.
It drives me bananas that cosmetic mods break the checksum and disable achievements in Stellaris.

This update makes this game almost look like an entirely new game.

I remember it from its release, after all the DLC's and changes, it is an entirely new game. Paradox really outdid themselves on stellaris, the game just feels fresh again.

I recall reading on one of the previous DLCs, i think it was Reapers Due, that they only planned for 2 or 3 more expansions. And we've had 3 since then, so thats why im kinda expecting it to be the end. I hope they make some more expansions but im ok if they decide to end it.
The last DLC was supposed to be Jade Dragon, but then they made their biggest DLC yet right after :P
So I'm going to wait for the official word.

I've looked through some of the additions added from Paradox DLC's, and while part of it is purely content, quite often the rest of it is game-engine changes and enhancements. After so many years, they are still tinkering with their game engines and the game designs. By now all of Paradox's games are a quite deal different from their original releases, even Hearts of Iron IV.

That said, Stellaris has had the biggest and most obvious changes from what I can tell. Adding entirely new systems or changing them around... it takes a whole lot of time and effort to do that to a game that's already basically complete. Especially when it comes to keeping computer resource usage down. Any inefficiency would just eat up more RAM and CPU, making the patch-and-DLC combo all but unusable to anyone with a lower end PC.

In effect, Stellaris already is a new game. Lol. And most of the modders are going crazy about it too. A lot of the good old mods are utterly unusable now to boot.

I for one approves of it. Les micromanagement tbh and it's much better let the AI handle Sectors.

Except sectors don't seem to be functional, I don't understand what's happening here.

Because they basically removed Sectors. The only thing there is not is that Sectors act like Duchies in CK2 wherever you appoint a Governor it affects the whole Sector not just a single planet.

You can always read the patchnotes for more info.

But I can't modify them and the AI does nothing to them.
This kills the game for me. I can't be expected to manage dozens of planets/habitats
