Hello Noobzor! Happy new year!

I can't get the table to work, I am getting "Error while scanning AOB: HighlightedItemAOB Error : Not all results found"
I am using Cheat Engine ver.7.3 with Final Fantasy VIII Remastered (PC) - Steam version.

Please advise.
-Raul
Hi!
Latest table works without problems.
Plaese, can you give me more informations?
In what language are you playing? Your copy is downloaded and updated from Steam's servers? It's a legit copy?
Language : English
Legit : No (HoodLum)
Maybe the version I have is an older version of the game and the AOB doesn't work?

As far I know, my table don't works on JAP language because AOBs go in search of "FFVIII_EFIGS.dll" but the JP game use "FFVIII_JP.dll" instead. This isn't your case.

If the game's crack go modifying something in the file "FFVIII_EFIGS.dll", it's possible that all AOB from my table don't work with your game.

Lastly (and most probably), you have a older version. You can try all tables in this thread and see if at least one of them work.

HERE you can find all old tables.
HERE the table for JAP game.

Search in this thread, maybe you find the table for you. If that table that you find is lack of some cheat, I'm sorry but I can't help you.

Thanks for the update Mad_Monkey!

the limit break code is my favorite one lol i hope you have time to fix it at some point. :)

i had to downgrade to old version in the meantime, will stick with it for now. :D i didn't have any problems using the other codes the person above did, maybe still using old version
For limit break always on option, there are ways which involve hex editing the FFVIII_EFIGS.dll file. I've got it from Callisto at qhimm forum.

change the value at offset 0x2ECAB7 from 75 to EB and value at offset 0x2ECB33 from 0 to 4

edited: currently i'm stuck at finding which address controls Squall limit break Finishers. I'm don't know how to find it. I would like to make certain finishers applied after renzokuken and not depend on random calculation by the game.

Hello everyone!

Another Steam update, another revision of my table.
I haven't do much changes from my previous table. Just littles improvement to prevent (I hope!) "table update" every "game update". Those cheats in RED are still broken.

Check the new table HERE and, as usual, happy gaming.

Tested the Draw Multiplier for the latest update and it's not working. Thanks for the update anyway.
EDIT: Inf Item Use uses the entire item instead of 1 at a time.

Thank You too for testing!
I'll check those cheats soon!

Speaking of Draw Multiplier, I must say that it works ONLY for drawing points scattered on the world map and in towns; in battle it doesn't work.
This due the maximum ammount of magic that you can draw from monsters, only 9 units of magic.
Where did you find problems?

EDIT:
Tested Draw Multiplier and it works as intended. Only in world map and in towns.
Since I was testing my table, I also fixed Inf. Items Use.

It's possible to download the new table HERE.
Version 6.12 replace previous version 6.11.

Oh. Sorry. I thought it worked for battles as well. Thanks for the clarification!

Freezing Magic QTY under Highlighted Magic during battle causes whoever casting magic freeze in their casting animation forever, thus having the need to force close the game.
Probably because in battle, the values of Magic ID & Magic QTY keep automatically changing to random values. This is what I was able to observe.

The purpose of Highlighted Magic is only to modify/add a specific magic to a character.
Instead of freezing the value, you can use the Inf Magic Use (In-Battle, Out of Battle) cheat.

Hi, question: Does the offset change during patch?

I have a non-Steam copy of Remastered and was able to find Summoning Odin and make Squall always use Lion Heart as a finisher.

Not sure if it will work on the Steam version.

Hello dear friend!

Can you post the table that you create?
Maybe, with a little luck, I can "convert" it for the Steam version!
Thank you!
