If you just want god mode and one-hit-kill, it's quite simple.
Open Hades\Content\Scripts\Combat.lua in a text editor.
Search for OnHit{
About 10 lines below that you will find if victim ~= nil then and copy-paste this below: if victim == CurrentRun.Hero then
triggerArgs.DamageAmount = triggerArgs.DamageAmount * 0.01
else
triggerArgs.DamageAmount = triggerArgs.DamageAmount * 100.0
end
Change the numbers however you see fit, then save and continue playing.
Keep in mind however that dying is an essential part of the game.

Was about to say that. I believe people will overlook that. All game progression happens when you DIE Reaching the end of the road, out of the Underworld is but a 10% of the progression
There is a mod on Nexus called the Codex Menu which IMO is the ideal cheat for this game. As Sunbeem said, you NEED to die, repeatedly, constantly, to progress the game for real... so God Mode isn't a good idea. The Codex Menu lets you basically choose whatever boons etc you want so you can make some ridiculously OP builds to the point where unless you stand still for minutes on end you are impossible to kill... so the game can be as easy or hard as you want it to be while still retaining the ability to die easily if you need to after achieving certain progression points (some objectives need you to get to a certain room and do something, etc).

Have you stumbled into which lua script handles ammo for the gun? I like playing with the aspect of lucifer but the low ammo can be annoying.
