Lord Blade, i think it is fine to just play the IV on its own, Bard's tale games tend to be standalone titles.

I think there are some references to the past games in the lore and some songs, but it's not thrown in your face, it's more of a subtle nostalgic touch. I don't think you will really miss 'a lot' by playing the game without knowing the older ones.

Though a way to at least redistribute the skill points would really be nice. I tried finding them, but aside from gold (which was an easy searching for integers) I couldn't find anything.

This game is weird in a way it stores values. Gold is int, but exp found are only the functional/cosmetic ones in the windows not the real value.

Skill Points and unlimited moves/energy would be amazing.

Be aware that there will be weekly big patches, the game is still a bit buggy and Inxile announced a patch plan. Scene releases exist also for the current patch1

I was able to edit stack sizes of inventory items, but they sometimes change when you zone
I was also able to find values of vendor inventory money so you can sell your stuff...

There is a cheat from MR Antifun wit infinite health, spellpioints, action points, instant action cooldown, skill points and 999999 Gold

Would be nice to get a nice table though... whwere values like str/int,... etc are included
