Can't save edit either, file gets corrupted.

Finally was able to cheat!
So what I did is find resource addresses of the transport rover using changed/unchanged scan.
Then freeze and keep unloading on resource storage.

I tried with resource storage itself, but it seems these values are still not real ones as it wouldn't let me take resources from the storage 2nd time, even though it displayed it had them (Frozen).

So you can find values for fuel and rare metals and get that unlimited funding that mars mission deserves.

Tips for finding address:
0 is 0 even encrypted.
Try remembering the amount (not 0) on first scan, and later change scan type to compare to first scan.

Maybe someone cane make an actual MOD for the game. A company that starts with lots of resources.

On "fearlessrevolution" they made trainer using methdo - when u starts new game,they used info on 1st page about starting founds and ships cargo capacity, on page where cargo they cheat making 999999 funds and max cargo weight. So there need 4 adresses(or more) but uknown type of them or maybe they

Yes it depends on the resource, i used SODI's technique to hack rover contained resources, some were multiplied by 65536000, others by 1000, and another by 65536. i don't remember which resource was multiplied by what.

Some resources are x10000 or x1000000, I closed the game and can't quite remember the amount of 0s.

The method described here isn't using CE but it's very easy nonetheless:

A few things the original poster didn't mention:

Start the game, in the main menu choose Mod Editor.

Press New Mod, give it a name then double lcick it in the Mods list.

In the new window go to New Item, then New Mission Sponsor.

To make it easier to tune the new sponsor you can go to the droplist of Copy from and choose the IMM for the International Mars Mission's properties.

After that you can do pretty much anything that has been requested here. There are also other "Items" that can be created, such as a new Commander Profile, new buildings, new radio etc.

Could you maybe upload it to ModDB? Not everyone has the Steam version to have access to the workshop.

The fearlessrevolution trainer can set the maximum Rocket cargo and money to 1.000.000 .Anything higher sets the value to negative.
But at least with lots of money you can order resources from earth. So that's not bad.

In the first columns, the value for the visual display and the actual number, in the rocket store. From the third to the seventh - the actual value with a multiplier.
